Well i got an answer
Dear Denis, Thank you for your interest in the Red Bull Collective Art project. Please, excuse us for the inconvenience and thank you for contacting us. we have experienced a couple of technical issues in the past days, partly leading to time slots disappearing from user dashboards. The good news is that the source of the issue was found and the booking process works again. We are currently looking at extending the time slots and hope that, despite the issues experienced, you will still be interested in contributing to the project with your artwork? Please just let us know in case you do not wish to participate anymore and we will not send you any follow up. Otherwise we will get back in touch with you as soon as new time slots are available. Thank you for the time dedicated to this project so far, Your Red Bull Collective Art Team We would of course like you to still be part of the project. Don't hesitate to contact us in case of any further issues. All the best, Your Red Bull Collective Art Team
Not exactly my work, but my brother writes poetry, some of you might even remember this thread. I have since posting that been uploading some of his works to Hello Poetry, after someone recommended doing so. If you'd like to take a look you can find the latest one at http://hellopoetry.com/poem/where-love-is-but-a-name/. Thoughts and constructive criticism would be appreciated, if possible. Thanks.

Guess who forgot about the animation assignment over break and did it overnight? Eleven seconds as 12 fps, baby. Here's one sec of it. Shitty browser cutting out frames. Open in new tab to see the whole thing. Maybe I should just post a vid.
Just got another email: The Red Bull Collective Art time slots have been extended
Just bought a Loomis figure drawing book Yeah boiiiiii gonna get me some skills
You know that there's a list of all of his books in PDF from online, right? I mean, I'm all for buying books...
You know that there's a list of all of his books in PDF from online, right? I mean, I'm all for buying books...
Online PDF pages look really blurry that I can hardly see the texts. Also underlines.
You know that there's a list of all of his books in PDF from online, right? I mean, I'm all for buying books...
I must have missed the memo on openly sponsoring piracy on art related material in this thread.

But if you're broke and willing, here's his non-pirated material. [editline]20th March 2013[/editline] And here's a range of expanded texts on art, from basics to theory. I liked the uniformity and didnt think about that honestly, good to know though!
There's a perspective technique for this but I can't for the life of me remember it, something with crossed boxes that works it out precisely.
You'd draw the horizon and the closest pole, and the lines from the vanishing point to the top and bottom of it. Then draw the second pole in line (the distance you leave between them will be the uniform distance between all of them since you use it to place the rest of them). Then take a diagonal line from the top of the closer pole to the bottom of the second one. Now draw a line parallel to this line from the top of the second pole to where it cuts the lower perspective line from the vanishing point to the bottom of your first pole. Where the lines intersect is where you place your third pole. Then use the same parallel line from the top of the third pole to where it cuts the perspective line, there's your fourth.. and so on [editline]21st March 2013[/editline] It helps if you think of the poles altogether as a flat plane. Then you just turn the plane on its side and got a road with markings or train tracks or whatever you want.. technique stays the same
