Just remember that if that right-most wall that's in shadow isn't getting hit with a lot of reflected light from another building or the sand, it should have be more blue than the lit side, not more red. I'd colour it with some reflected light from the sand at the base, with it getting more blue towards the top

well i put it as a thumbnail. i don't think i'll work on it anymore because i got pretty frustrated at how shitty it looked after 2 hours of work.

Try removing the pen nib and reinserting it. Had a friend who's nib got jammed up in the sensor.

Use more than one colour or tone for your people, they're all cardboard cutouts :v:
Copy-pasting isn't a great idea unless you put in the work to alter the copies so they don't look like copies. Even at that, you're better off just painting the thing again if it's a small enough element.

Made changes based on suggestions (plus added her right hip.)
Left a couple of things though like the neck and the leg length due to them just being like that for effect and personal preference.

I wouldn't worry too much on a nit-picking anatomy on a drawing outline if I were you, IMO it'd be a better use of time to work on gesture/anatomy sketches unless you plan on rendering your drawing above.
Otherwise it's just fleshing out more detail from there on end, GL.

I'm in the middle of designing the yearbook page for my class and in my head I had the idea of making the page film noir themed, where it will be designed like an evidence board with everybody's photos on them and red lines linking the photos, the cool part would be that there is a murder mystery that needs to be solved using the photos.
I got as far as finding scenes from my favorite films to use as the photos but I cannot make it look nice, every time I draw the red lines to link the photos It looks really bad. Does anybody have any thoughts on how I can salvage this?

Bamboo fun pen and touch. I have no idea how to remove the nib, but I'll try when I get home.

Tablet should have come with spare nibs, and in the nib bag is a little round metal thing. You can use that or just yank it out with your teeth.
Has this happened every time you plug in your tablet? With my old pen and touch on some start-ups (mostly if I plugged it in before computer was done start-up it seemed) it would decide it only wanted to use the touch function some times, and not work properly for drawing.

It looks like it's on a chalk board, try drawing white lines rather than red and use a textured brush (if your using a program that will work for that)

Get some type of background instead of the solid blue, some kind of texture I guess. Then maybe make the photos a bit more yellow instead of plain old black and white. And put drop shadows if you can make it look nice.

Seem cool, the colouring seems a bit bland though, also not digging the smudgy blackness on the skin.

Well, you should maybe start with people...or buildings, something that exists might make for an easier start? Try observations of things around your house, also get gimp or something, paint is good for pixel art, but not this kind of thing.
