Pour water out of a glass bottle and photograph it?

Really like the style The tree on the left makes the comp uncomfortable, I lose whatever the focal point is supposed to be because I continually look back over at that big black mass Also take out the soldier and it could be Winnie the Pooh
Don't know If I should post this in Digital Art or here, but I've been trying to get a grunge effect for a lens flare. Here's the img [t]http://i.imgur.com/vYVNbSV.jpg[/t] EDIT: [t]http://i.imgur.com/r9r21ij.jpg[/t] The other one had too much "Stuff" going on, so I decided to clean up the middle, remove the scratches ( they looked weird anyways ) and added more subtle smudges.
Add larger, more subtle smudges that are only just visible, and get rid of a few of the more obvious ones. I'm not sure what to tell you about the focus of scratches and smudges, as it depends on whether they're in the lens elements or on a surface in the composition.
stuff
Makes me think of a spacecraft illuminating a billion year old organic structure floating in space, as it flies past. Couldnt tell you where i got that from.
Second pic I had to do for my class. The size reduction really hurt the quality on this one [t]http://imageshack.us/a/img59/3116/city2web1.jpg[/t]
Quick scrabblings while under the influence of hams and hens and discount candy EDIT: Shoved them values up a lil bit
Quick scrabblings while under the influence of hams and hens and discount candy
Nigga u trippin [editline]1st April 2013[/editline] I like it though! I know it's tough to bring yourself to do, but I'd definitely mess with the levels and push those values up a bit

[thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMAG02511.jpg[/thumb] Quickie, was feeling content and wanted to capture it.
I'm revisiting animation today for the first time in years. It has become a neglected hobby of mine, to say the least. I'd thought I'd start small and do a little sandbag test. Pretty happy with it so far.
Created a highlights and scratch layer and started composting them. Pretty happy with it now.
I kind of wish the actual point source of light was visible, but shit that looks awesome.
i colored a scanned line drawing. no i didn't go for a anatomically correct anything and no i don't know how to color or shade. easter hype kid

But I like how that one mole in the middle turned out. I think I might've got his metal luster right. Still practicing, though
Gonna keep telling you this for as long as you don't address it Noov, you need a value range from near black to white. Your shapes and forms are ok, your aspects are usually very good, but if the drawing is all-over-weak-greys those things don't matter cause they have no punch behind them. I'd re-draw one of your moles from scratch with a full value range to illustrate how important this is if I had the time, I'm pretty pushed at the moment though so please take my word for it :v: After that you should think about line weight

baller perspective on the legs/feet is a bit weird on the 2nd one
I had dinner and then decided I was a kindly soul and would do it anyway Didn't render all of him though just the head, I'm seriously strapped for time Ignore how it's all wonky, the sketch is rushed and less good than your drawing. Use of darker tone is the point I was trying to make
[editline]1st April 2013[/editline] utility mech
perspective of and inside the cockpit looks wonky, the design is very cool though :)

I'm not the best painter there is, but i know a thing or 2 about composition. -using FOR/MID & background principle. He has a midground and a bit of a background. But he could use a foreground. -Use cutoff. Now everything is in your frame, cutting stuff off gives a sense of depth. - The only interesting thing on the screen is super small. making things small doesn't always give the sense it's faraway, or scale.

Use of darker tone is the point I was trying to make
I see. When I shade, I thought it's best to emulate how the colors would look like in graphite, so I might've ignored the whites it need to make it stand out.
(image) [editline]1st April 2013[/editline] utility mech
Man, that looks a lot like the mech I drew a year ago. Only a lot less shitty and not round, Toriyama-ish
So I got a new sharpener Sharpens like God, though. I think I got an orgasm of how well it sharpens.
I always use a hobby knife to sharpen my pens. Me and sharpeners dont get along very well.
If I'm using pencil I only use mechanical pencils to draw. I mostly draw with my felt tipped pens though.
You missed the point guys, it spells 'ass' on the label :(
You missed the point guys, it spells 'ass' on the label :(
So many bad jokes to say to this reply.
