I dont get the website. where do I type stuff in?
I should probably go binge watch the entire KND series again, haven't watched it in years. I remember making those KND ID thingys online and printing them out.
I remember there was a free downloadable game from years back and CN held a contest where whoever gets the highest score for the week, gets their name and avatar appear on TV. You pretty much have to grind at the game nonstop in order to get your name in the leaderboard, which I wasn't willing to do as kid. Too bad the game is long gone now.
Seems like this series is also going to be dealing with the decommissioning of sector v because if you put their code names in the rainbow monkey site it says "Awaiting planetary decom"
So the KND are now the bad guys? From all the information I gathered off the website and video, all the important Operatives are either fugitives, decommissioned, or captured. If you type in "adults" or "grown ups, teenagers, etc" it says "a disease that must be cured". I'm assuming the KND got out of hand with its objective of controlling "adults" around the world that it lost its touch. The veteran KND members that are not sided with the G:KND are probably gonna start a militia to fight back. I mean its just a theory, but god damn all the lore teasing on the website is getting me hyped.
So did they just fucking nuke earth before the show even started?
So did they just fucking nuke earth before the show even started?
probably wasn't a nuke, maybe some weapon that targets adults or something. either way this shit got dark fast
i'm sorry

Since the ending of I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S. implied the return of Numbah One and the whole episode was dedicated to showing the adult lives of Sector V as they recount how things happened over the years as well as their relationships with Numbah One, if this kicks off where that began then by now most of Numbah One's teammates are adults, as are possibly most of the KND we knew. The fact that Chad and Nigel didn't age makes me wonder if the G:KND prevented them from it, space travel caused them to age slower than everyone else, or if this retcons the final episode of the original series and has Nigel returning much, much earlier. Also, the KND were never out to control adults, no matter how dickish they could be towards them sometimes. They were out to protect kids from the tyranny of adults, fight for their rights and keep them from being screwed over. But they never hunted random non-supervillain adults that weren't tied to problems of some sort, and most of the KND kids led normal lives with their families anyway, so I guess overall they just fought the real asshole adults and left the rest alone. Which the G:KND won't stand for, it seems.

They are essentially a universal version of KND, and only select one operative from each planet to represent their species and one operative only. The splinter-cell that was earlier in the series (that attempted to kill all adults) turned out to be a front for G:KND (which is why if you type it in it will say "There is no splinter cell"), and Numbah 74.239 is truly an alien in disguise on a mission to recruit the single operative; at the end of Operation I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S, he chooses Numbah 1. As such, Numbah 74.239 is the only one who knows of G:KND (even the leader of KND, Numbah 362, has no idea of its existence) thus allowing us to assume it's unrelated to KND. In essence, G:KND's entire modus operandi was to remove all adults from the universe, which was what they saw as a blight on the cosmos (as you said) - they were just hush-hush about it when they hired Numbah 1 from Earth so that they could slowly turn his allegiance to theirs. Deepest fucking lore. [editline]22nd March 2015[/editline]
So did they just fucking nuke earth before the show even started?
When you turn 13, KND 'decommission' you, essentially wiping all memories of KND. That's basically what just happened, except instead of one person, it was every adult on earth, and instead of wiping out their memories, it's killing them. Hang on, let me cross-post from the other thread:
Time for a dump of info! From Warburton's sketchbook. Scroll down. Every single possible outcome on the website. If you try to enter splinter cell it'll tell you there isn't one. Interestingly enough, typing in Lizzy Devine gives you "Earth Mission Complete." That's numbuh one's 'girlfriend': And this is the main facebook account, Numbah Vine. The images on the site translate to "Stop the G:KND" and "Save the Earth". Perhaps Numbah Vine is a human sympathiser because of Numbah One? The website leads to a countdown when you enter "GALACTIC" as a password: Although this probably means that Rainbow Monkeys was an interstellar front the entire time. And now funnies:
Judging by the small snippet, it seems like it's taking a little while after the events of numbuh 1 going into space to join the GKND, seeing as the remaining members of sector v are set to be decommissioned. It is never explicitly implied that numbuh 1 never returned to earth, despite the end of interviews.

I never saw the ending to this show. I got a lot of catching up to do.
Lizzie DeVINE Numbuh VINE Earth mission completed.
Dee Bradley Baker went from "voice decommissioned" to "emergency recommissioned." Does that mean they got him after all?
"key" : "tumblr", "response" : "recommission everyone" so is http://numbuhone.tumblr.com/ legit after all? I might be wrong, and its just fanmade or somethin
KND has the perfect atmosphere to keep on trucking, there is just so much you can do with the kids vs adults war the possibilities are endless. This can be a nice, fresh, new angle on the saga can't wait to see the new technologies the artists/writers come up with, the acronyms for each tech was pretty clever.
Dee Bradley Baker went from "voice decommissioned" to "emergency recommissioned." Does that mean they got him after all?
Perfect that means the entire voice cast for sector v is back. I hope Maurice returns
this is so god damned surreal. i remember occasionally seeing it on TV flipping channels and watching an episode here and there, and thinking it was such a simple show. but there's a whole god damned lore to the show? and it's this fucking complex and well written? like god damn. some series go through like 10+ seasons without having any hidden lore or information or anything, and this child's television show has this much shit packed into it? holy fuck.

Then Father got introduced at the end of season one. After that, episodes began connecting or continuing from one another, character arcs appeared and the KND numbers were majorly expanded from just focusing on Sector V to other groups as well, sometimes even an episode focusing on teens or adults here or there. By the end of the series almost everything and everyone that had a name and more character beyond a simple one-off scene or cameo, probably had some sort of story or perhaps even an entire episode to themselves. And it doesn't even feel remotely like a clusterfuck for it all thanks to the episodic pacing and brilliant writing.
I never really appreciated KND before, now that I'm thinking back on it, it had pretty good writing, stories, and pop culture references. Maybe the main cast are now teenagers, and they're going to shoot for a more "mature" audience like a lot of studios have been doing recently. (Adventure Time, Legend of Korra, ect)

I feel like the only person who didn't like this show as a kid. Or not even disliked it, just... found more entertaining things on TV and sat through episodes of this because there was no alternative. Everyone else seems mega-hyped and I'm all like "real happy for you, guys..."

Still a solid show, and I'm glad it's making a return.

Man I sure hope they dont fuck this up like most cartoon reboots/continuations.
New video! Also the Numbah Vine account posted the leaked video so I assume the countdown leads to something else now. And the tumblr posted 4 more images, each with the description (sometimes garbled) "Planetary Decom Pending": Who knows how tears are coming through the goggles? also Desc is "You will be avenged." and Desc: "You're weak, and that's why they didn't choose you."
