Does anyone else try to occupy their minds with something to prevent negative thoughts?
yes and i fail horribly and usually end up worsening the negative thoughts about 90% of the time.
I try gaming, listening to music, watching something and chatting to people. Most of the time it helps.
Oh thank goodness I thought I was the only one.
I think most humans do that...

In total there was a lot of guns. I shot a Taurus M72 LR22 Pump, some assorted .22 long rifle riffles, a Luger P08, a Ruger .22 of whatever model, a Simonov SKS, a Colt Commander 1911 .32 Super (probably the nicest gun i've ever fired), a Taurus .32 snub, and i think that's it

I have a nice vintage 1930's "G date" luger and a 1911 dated from 1913. I can't shoot them because they are
in collector grade.
I use to have several Original Soviet SKS's one from 1953, that was beautiful.
Right now the only person who has an SKS is my bf, "hence Siminov huehuehue"
The 1911 has a very nice action as well as the luger great choice in firearms.

I just acknowledge them but avoid entertaining them. You can't make your mind stop thinking about things but you can choose where you go with the thoughts after you have them.

I think that the only way for me to ever get any form of exercise, is going ice skating with friends, as we are all very, very competitive. Sadly, it is $20 for entry, something I don't really want to fork out every week or so.
I need to stop dreaming of my ex talking to me again. I wish he'd just say that he didn't want to talk to me at all. It'd be so much easier.

I love the Luger, it's such a nice gun. Only thing that I dislike about it is how the casing flies upwards; I get hit with the shell so much. You can actually see the blur of the shell casing flying past my head in the second Luger picture.

But they're mostly boring.
I, for a period of time (twice), would go kayaking in the morning, road my bicycle afterwards, went swimming after that. The most boring two hours ever. I kept forgetting I was supposed to be doing exercise and I'd slow right down as my thoughts drifted elsewhere.
I imagine ice skating would be much easier to pull off as a form of exercise.
