You realize interviews are as much for you as they are for the guy hiring you to figure out if a job is right for you. If you were already on a work program then you should have just stuck with that if that's what you'd rather want to go for. Of course if this was literally your only option or you go poor and broke then that's that I guess. Assuming you haven't started yet you can always call them to decline their offer for the apprenticeship.

If it leads to a job, you have to accept it. If you don't you get punished. I know this apprenticeship isn't going to last, its not going to pay much and they are gonna strip so much off what I'm getting in JSA because of the apprenticeship. The work program has no say in this, they have to work around the shit the centre pulls and it's annoying.
How does that work? Maybe I don't understand why you are forced to get a job if you try and find one through a job center. Couldn't you just say no to the job center? How could they possibly punish you?
If anyone here is from Boston, I hope you're ok man.

Declining an interview or job placement is seen as a failure to correspond with the JS agreement so they'll sanction your payment, first failure is for a fixed period of four weeks, then followed by 13 weeks for subsequent failures (within a 52 week period of their last failure), then the worst cases are for example for leaving a job voluntarily it'll lead to losing JSA for a fixed period of 13 weeks for a first failure, 26 weeks for a second failure and 156 weeks for a third and subsequent failure (within a 52 week period of their last failure). Its stupid and they keep making me apply to jobs I can't do which I've explained why.

So i was in class and immediately as the bombing info debuted my friend messaged me on steam. So i pulled up news and was like "hmm" and told a few people in class and it just went around. I thought "well that really sucks for those who took part in the marathon". Then a moment later my friend told me that there was no more Skyrim DLC coming out and we both freaked out and got angry/sad. We both realized we had our priorities straight. I have another phone interview, this time for the same job, but in Tulsa, OK. Also, woke up and saw I had a hickey down on the left side of my throat. Welp.

Advice needed gaypunch There's a great 120hz monitor on sale for $350 (normally $420) with $5 shipping right now that I'm looking at buying. I just got my tax refund of 1100 so the cost isn't an issue, but despite a few pending job applications I don't have any guaranteed employment right now. Bad idea to buy it or not? My monitor is giving out so I basically need to replace it sooner or later, and it seems dumb to save $150 by buying one that's only marginally better than what I have now. That said, aside from an emergency savings account that I don't touch and what was already in my chequing account I have reserved for bills, I don't really have any guaranteed money coming in beyond the tax refund. Be my financial advisor thanks
I slept long and well last night, although I had a dream where I was in North Korea and had to escape by stowing away in a steam train.

My mum's now pissed that i can't pay enough rent, and my mum's bf is barely bringing in enough. TL:DR only spend dosh on tech when its spare.

But on the other hand, no income. The responsible thing would be to not buy it. Also gayfolks decide this for me too: Should i start a new play through of Metro 2033 (a game i do love and the new one is coming out soon) or fallout 3 (which i havent played for awhile but i love messing about in it)
Hey guys, not only am I back from my ban, but I'm also back from the happiest place on Earth. That's right, motherfucking Disney World. I had a fantastic time and have way too much to talk about. While it's by far the best vacation I've had so far, I wouldn't go consistently. Disney World is one of those places you can only go a few times in your life.

Today is one of the only days I have to study for upcoming tests and I literally can not bring myself to start. [editline]16th April 2013[/editline] I just spent five minutes changing the words in the above sentence around. Same meaning, different word arrangements. That's how far I am into procrastination. [editline]16th April 2013[/editline] This is amazing: [IMG_thumb]http://sphotos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/529856_495423747173881_658374938_n.jpg[/IMG_thumb]

I take showers when I procrastinate. My record is four in a row.
