I'm just going to say that there really isn't any other thread the occasional mention of this would fit in to.
I'd stop posting, if people stop coming into this thread to post borderline underage porn and mentioning how their life is doing, for better or worse (usually worse), because they're gay, just came out, et cetera.
But it's a chat thread, that's what people do in them. They discuss things relevant to the topic.

Make sure if it's in a shed with chemicals, it's properly ventilated. Corrosive chemicals in the air can really wreck heaters and they aren't cheap.
I used to work with my dad at a pool chemistry company. They would manage your pools for you.

I don't see why you rated it disagree. Maybe it's only with industrial strength chemicals, but I've seen what it does myself.
My dad's warehouse is pretty similar to that. Sounds like what my dad does. He sells commercial chemicals (like those), automation equipment, and there's monthly service plans where the customer leases the automation equipment and we deliver new chemicals and balance the levels every month.
Over the summer I worked in the warehouse, filling delboys and pulling orders. Last fall, I did chemical delivery which was really fun. Driving for 8 hours for 1 hour of work. Wasn't too bad.

Except your argument could be really turned against you because coming out is part of being gay, and some life problems are gay related.
Also don't you post about your life too? Better or worse? We all do, and there isn't really anything wrong with it unless you're flaunting it or refusing to get help.

Everything people end up posting in here is somehow relevant, even the pool conversation because it stemmed off of an earlier conversation about weight loss.
If you want people to stop posting about one thing or another, soon enough people are going to be wanting even less stuff talked about until this thread is only getting a post here and there consisting of "I'm gay" or "I think I'm gay" or otherwise.
It's a gay chat thread, people are chatting about gay things or things that have an effect on their life in some way.
I don't see why posts on a forum should bother you so much.

I'm not talking about using them in detail or anything of the sort, I'm just mentioning that I've gotten them and, if people are curious about something, I'll answer to an extent that I feel is still acceptable.

Yes, it is a bit awkward when someone comes in talking about a 'toy' they just purchased and if they continue to do so. However, that does not mean the discussion should be immediately halted.
As mentioned, it's a chat thread. It's the thread that 'appeals', if you will, to said topic the most. The thread does not solely revolve around said topic, however, and it can easily be ignored by simply bringing up something else.
If you don't like dildo talk, fine, I don't either. But we shouldn't argue over whether or not it's relevant to the chat/okay to talk about.
As Seiteki mentioned, there are a lot of topics that are brought up that could be fine elsewhere, but fall in here due to the fact that it's a chat thread, and has a lot of members who are willing to enjoy discussion about those topics.
I'm overthinking this I know.
