IF you want the skater/emo/scene look, id personally say get some DC High tops. They aren't massively cheap (mine cost me £65/$99), but they last a long time, and I go shoes ridiculously fast. If not, go for some converse or vans plimsoles. From what i've seen they look really nice and are only about £20/$30.

People looking for hobbies should try going to a LARP at least once, it's acting, team-sport, history, fitness, craft, costumery, fantasy and even camping all smooshed into one hobby and you're 100% guaranteed to meet cool people.

A friend took me to a weekly thing a few months ago and i've been going to my town's weekly LARP ever since, i'm hooked.
