Does anyone else feel like social media and other internet communication is lacking because you can't rate posts? I keep reading internet things and thinking "Winner!" and "Informative." and then realising that is only a thing on Facepunch. I suppose it is more prevalent for me because I just joined.
facebook desperately needs a dislike button.
facebook desperately needs a dislike button.
I'm against this, because its one way to incite a shitstorm of shitposting/comments, completely littering a persons facebook page.

If people are that ardently against a comment someone made, they make a comment about it. Then a person will retort and it end up being youtube comments.

People post about their terrible day and someone "likes" it. Or something along those lines and someone asks "Why would you like that..." etc.. It acts as an antidote to a like as well. Too often I see some really bad Facebook post that is intolerant or ignorant of certain things and it has 20+ likes. All those people are feeling like the post is "correct" and the likes significantly reinforce that. If they had just as many dislikes then they would at the very least feel a little uncomfortable about why they liked the post to begin with.
It feels to me like the dislike button would fix a lot of misunderstandings and (maybe) even some embarrassing situations. On a different note: I'm starting to understand why all of my friends say I look tired all the time.

I woke up today seeing it snowing outside my window, in Toronto, at this time of year. Silly weather.
Can you email me some please?
It was only for like a few minutes and melted by now...
then email him a freezer
Snow is really not all it's cracked up to be. I mean, yeah. It's pretty, but it's really not worth being snowed in for a week over.
Snow is pretty but it is also a curse. Be thankful you do not have it.
Spring is here(ish) and I won't have to shovel or whatever for the next 7 months or so.
Lies Snow is amazing you guys need to lay off the CRACK
I have been in snow before, it is 1000 times better than the extreme heat here. Not that is hot at all here at the moment.

Snow just makes me really stressed out for some reason.
Ughhhh My facebook news feed is filled with dumbasses who don't know what the hell miranda rights are pretending they know what miranda rights are, as they link to articles and "facebook shared infographics" that try and stir up more controversy now that the "fun" is over with the bombing suspect crap OMG HE WASN'T READ HIS RIGHTS WHEN HE WAS ARRESTED NICE TO SEE THE LAW GETS BENT YET AGAIN WAY TO GO POLICE-STATE WITH TOO MUCH POWER PATRIOT ACT PATRIOT ACT no you dumbasses miranda rights only apply during the actual interrogation not when you get arrested with the exception of you needing key info at the time of arrest if there is a direct threat to public safty (i.e. a cop asking where the bomb is) and even then assuming the suspect is never read his miranda rights before getting interrogated anything he says can't be used against him in a court of law
I have been in snow before, it is 1000 times better than the extreme heat here. Not that is hot at all here at the moment.
Being in snow once or twice is not living in it for more than half a year.
Being in snow once or twice is not living in it for more than half a year.
I've been in it for 3 months. I still stand by cold > heat any day.
I've been in it for 3 months. I still stand by cold > heat any day.
Three months? Haha. It's been snowing here yet. Winter has been going on for over half of a year easily.
I've been in it for 3 months. I still stand by cold > heat any day.
Three months? :v I've been in snow for a total of at least 10 years outta my near 19 years of existence on this planet :v:

I would rather be in the snow that heat. Spend most of my life in the heat, there is nothing worse than that. Sure it's *only* 3 months, but that was far better than the, how ever long of my life, I have spent in the heat.

Travel conditions during a snow storm are brutal.
I hate winter, all it does is ruin your cars, cost more in electricity, requires you to shovel daily, and there's no winter activity I like. I'd rather have a mild heat all year long than half a year of snow and rust meeting.
