Does not compute. How does that work? This is what most parkourers(word?) look like They're not skinny, but they're not muscle mountains either. They're something in between those two and they actually have some visible muscles. Not because they're skinny, but because their muscles have developed due to training. You're just skinny. Or atleast that's what I saw on the video.
Those are people that are actually good at parkour. Not the "I'M JUMPING OVER A FENCE AM I COOL YET" type
Those are people that are actually good at parkour. Not the "I'M JUMPING OVER A FENCE AM I COOL YET" type
i am just jumping over the fence because there is nothing to do on that spot... I'll make a video at the next spot and show you some real skills ;)
you said you started 2 years ago, didnt mirrors edge come out 2 years ago :raise:
I used to parkour, unfortunately my friends stopped to do it so i did so too. :( Also, the amount of muscles doesn't measure how competent you are in Parkour, it's the technique and the practising.
back in my day we didnt refer to hopping fences as 'doing parkour' goddamn kids these days!
lol those people probably thought you were missing a chromosome or something
Thats prakour style of running "striding", easier to count your steps before a move. [editline]10:43AM[/editline] The fuck man? I don't have red hair, and i look nothing like him, why people still saying that? [editline]10:45AM[/editline] Hmm... actually hair looks red for some reason lol)) Maybe because of color correction i did.
It may be easier to count your steps but it's not very practical. If you're doing it so you can launch off your "preferred" foot then that is a very bad thing. You should practise both sides of your body. To everyone saying FPers are all scrawny weaklings or fat fucks, you really need to stop having such a narrow mind. Plenty of FPers are athletic. I've been doing Parkour since the end of 2008 but only on and off a few times until the start of this year. At the start of this year I really started doing it actively and I have improved a lot. Last weekend I resolved to practise at least an hour balancing two days in a row. It's amazing how much I improved in that short amount of time. My maximum balancing distance on your average handrail went from 10-20m to around 150m. I recently discovered that I can run up and climb onto a wall over twice my height :buddy:. I'm about 5' 10". at 0:38 you run like a retarded gorilla.
at 0:38 you run like a retarded gorilla.
Shit works though Been thinking of getting back into this, but my main problem was grip with my feet in urban areas, got any shoes you'd recommend for extra grip on ledges etc? [editline]12:22PM[/editline] Though wouldn't this be free running, not parkour, because you're doing tricks and not trying to get somewhere as fast as possible, or am I mixing the two up again :v:
Why always that awful fish eye lens? It doesn't make anything look cool or good, it's just annoying.

I recommend feiyues.

He's he's skinny as fuck, but he's surprisingly strong whenever I get into a mess fight with him. I suppose it helps that he's really light.
I like the video in general. No death metal music, fairly good use of surroundings, lots of precisions, kongs, a few cats I think, and shitloads of lazy/thief vaults. I think you should find some good walls to climb.
Why always that awful fish eye lens? It doesn't make anything look cool or good, it's just annoying.
that's gopro camera, it has only wide lens, (it's not fish eye it is wide lens 180deg.) good for sports.
I have another question. How is running like you got something up your ass good for counting steps? People in the military do stuff that is "tactical" and they don't run like that. Also, I don't mean tactical like in the movies.

That was alright, I'm no expert at parkour but I'm not really impressed either. Makes me sort of want to try parkour. Maybe it was just jumping over fences and rocks, still looks fun to me.
thats parkour striding, a lot of trecours run like that, i feel comfortable this way.
But all you did was jump over fences and on rocks.... you didn't need to run that ridiculous.
But all you did was jump over fences and on rocks.... you didn't need to run that ridiculous.
i am just feel comfortable this way, and when i was running like that i was about to make a handstand so... it is easier for me to use that kind of run before, try it by yourself.
Pretty good, I suppose. I don't really find the appeal in being a trickster when just doing the efficient thing is what actually matters. Been doing parkour myself for a few months now, pretty good at it if I do say so myself.

you look like a idiot when jumping on rocks without a shirt.
