Hey guys, so my digital painting sucks hard, nothing I ever do looks right. I'm wondering if anyone has some advice on improving my technique? Right now the way I do things is I delineate values on one layer in black and white using a brush at 50% opacity. Then whatver colors I use I lay on with a separate layer set to multiply. The problem is I can never get proper gradation. Here's an example. [IMG]http://img607.imageshack.us/img607/1727/digipaint.png[/IMG] If anyone has any advice or links to good tutorials, demos, etc. That would be awesome!
