To be honest I agree that it does look like most of the lines should work.

They're just going on a straight path similar to every other line. What you have made is a perspectived GRID. Not vanishing points. You could also say you've drawn in an isometric style. I do notice that your lines do follow a set perspective, but your vanishing point is so fucking far away the difference becomes way too small. Look at this. It makes no sense. I wrote a transcript from my dream I had about slaying a demon last night, it's somewhat artsy: I looked to my side, my mind and soul pounding in unison. My companions slaughtered by the beast, I raised my blade far above my head. I looked into it’s eyes and saw far into the abyss- not an abyss of darkness, but one of evil. I cared not of the innocents it had slain anymore, nor for the lives it had destroyed; but only of my hatred and the lust of vengeance. My ancestral blade came down on the beast’s skull, and in a burst of white hot flame it was over. I dropped my sword onto the cavern floor beside me and let out a lion’s roar of anger, of fury. This beast had taken everything from me… and I had finally given it what it wanted all along.

So yeah, I know this isn't very big, or good for that matter. But I am very proud of myself.
