that's what i was thinking
I like the ones on the far right where the G is the compass but it would make more sense if the red pointer on those would be flipped around. because the G represents the compass (i assume) and the pointer should start in the middle of the compass.
maybe i did. i have a terrible memory.
but yeh for learning how to blend and use your tablet properly and use brushes properly and for learning to observe and stuff it's probably better to start in black and white cos you don't have to concentrate on as many things

pea head, no definition in the leg (they're just poles... could have at least put in folds in there like you did with the left arm) and giant wonky AK
other people can probably pick up on other stuff
i like the style though. what medium(s) is this?
Thanks. Micron pen and prismacolor markers.
I call this sketch "skirt makes it epic".

I made this pen.
cute pen
Here's a little thing I did in Photoshop. It's a bit crummy around the edges, methinks, but the message and sentiment remains apparent.

I call it Cod of Duty: Fish Warfare. Yes, it's a fish (most likely a cod, I made it a long while back) with a rifle. Definitely doesn't deserve it's own thread.

Buy the fuck out of it. The paper-like surface is really comfortable to draw on and yeah, what ChestyMcGee said.

His front leg would curve back and out with the direction of his hip, or else he would fall over.

Get this one instead

it's just pen. not pen & touch. saves you twenty quid
I find touch a bit pointless...
I drew this to practice shading and stuff. Still WIP, have to do the hair and clothing and probably more:

The ref (yes it's tiny):

So yeah, anything to fix that I'm too blind to see?

That one has only 512 pressure levels (like it would matter for a newbie like me) and I want to be able to zoom and rotate and do all kind of stuff easily so I think the touch feature is quite necessary for me.

um.... it doesn't really look like him at all
the chin, nose and mouth are totally different shapes
you didn't really observe the values well either - there's shadow where there is no shadow in the reference and generally not enough highlights (the whole left cheek on the reference is as bright as the nose, but here you've only painted the nose as a peak highlight)
nice to see you've got the right starting place on the brush technique though

Mr. Circle blinks now. But he still loves you.
Any opinions?
Pictures of the finished set. If you want to know, the play is set inside a shaker town/village. The grass acts as a divide for the outside scenes and the stage for the inside scenes.

That is both an extremely well built and extremely expensive-looking set. How long is the show planned to run?
