problem with that is that it's traced from another poster, so that would be impossible without actually having to draw the silhouettes
That doesn't seem like too bad of a situation. It's just a little more time consuming and difficult.
Why don't you redo the pose, and exchange authenticity for not looking like some mutated penis monster? Perhaps have the kid standing next to her and just holding hands or something like that? Would be a lot easier to tell what it is if you did.
i dont see a mutilated penis monster at all
That doesn't seem like too bad of a situation. It's just a little more time consuming and difficult.
it is kinda hard if u cant draw
it is kinda hard if u cant draw
This is true, but Rusty is a pretty cool kid (or at least I think so).
u could make the kid a different color too
i dont see a mutilated penis monster at all
For those who don't know of the original poster, it's hard to tell what is going on. Either differentiate between the two people with a slight hue change, or throw some outlines down as someone else did for the gun.
problem with that is that it's traced from another poster, so that would be impossible without actually having to draw the silhouettes
Oh okay, I thought it was just based off the original poster. In that case it's a different ball of wax really.
i dont see a mutilated penis monster at all
I don't mean to offend, I just vaguely remember someone saying something of that nature and decided to run with it. I think it's looking really nice actually, other than the confusing outlines.
Rusty, I think something like this would solve the silhouette readability issue: [editline]9:38[/editline] except done better

THIS TIME, IT'S WAR [editline]10th May 2011[/editline] am i allowed to change the tagline because the original doesn't have a comma but i feel like it makes much more sense with a comma
THIS TIME, IT'S WAR [editline]10th May 2011[/editline] am i allowed to change the tagline because the original doesn't have a comma but i feel like it makes much more sense with a comma
yeah a comma fits
whatever i get an idea for
it's begging for a revamp: but I'll leave you to inspire yourself
I don't like the "this time..." font.
Really? I like it, what font is is
i like it too its Futura [editline]10th May 2011[/editline] how can u not like futura
[img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1482927/Posters/aliens%20shadowed.png[/img_thumb]

whatever i get an idea for
Wait, what? It's done? Looks half-finished. The alien looks like a messed up attempt to detail the mech, really hard to even notice. The mech is completly detail-less making it look like goddamn Optimus Prime. The heavy detail on the characters contra no detail at all to the surroundings except for the mech arms looks like shit. I understand the whole focus on the important people and giving a depth of field fog effect. But come on.
Futura is pretty gross

I like the simple style too. Whatever Rusty has learned from this poster he can put into future ones. That's how u progress u know
Rusty has a point, you tend to over do things
working on something too long is bad
