Does anyone know of any good tutorials on how to use values?

I liked it better with the palm trees

it's better with palm trees, also i don't like the font/kerning on the BASED ON THE TRUE STORIES line, also stretch the credits less vertically

At least there is too much non-contrasting green.

It might sound strange but I find pencil really unforgiving. I can draw pretty damn good hands with a biro but they look shit in pencil.

I found a stack of fax paper (with the little rip sides on them), and decided not to waste them, so; A forever W.I.P., the idea is I add a paper to it every night or two, and eventually fill up my wall with these... I use Sharpy's and Sharpy pens and some Pink Floyd to make them. [img]http://imageshack.us/m/685/4696/woopy.jpg[/img] Slight music references in the top right, I'll add more music references as I go. Also if anyone can name all three references (logo's, album art, etc) I'll love you. I have a pretty short attention span, so a small paper a night works for me very well.

I'll redo the text tomorrow after I haven't looked at it for a while. All I can see is palm trees right now. My ideal future of relaxing on a tropical island is forever ruined because of my hate for palm trees. That you people have created.

But I can add them I guess.

Still, very awesome progress considering I started practicing yesterday and they all looked like shit then. I've realised that the hand is made of up a trapezium shape for the palm, then an oval for the thumb chunk, and this seems to work in every situation. I don't bother doing primitives with the fingers, I find it more restrictive than anything.
