[editline]25th May 2011[/editline]
(although the bats look a bit retarded, i'd redraw them to look like actual bats unless they're supposed to be ghost bats in which case that's cool)
[editline]25th May 2011[/editline]
pps i love that movie
It is a really good idea but it confused me a little when it was in full size, the thumb does look really cool though.
what are you rating me dumb for Rusty?
"took me a little while to work out what i was looking at"
you said it yourself, it takes a while to realise what is going on. I am just trying to give him some criticism
and you say "we" believe you like you're in some cult or something.
She does that man, I remember when I first came on FP, she would be all "we're getting pretty sick of you, mako" and so on :v:
and an idiot for thinking anyone on here would believe you.
happy?
I made a papercraft weighted companion cube and put it on my brother's glowy floaty magnet plate thing

How large is that companion cube?
I need some help with my human proportion.
Got any tips?
Like it's been said before check out http://www.posemaniacs.com/ and sketch some. Other than that I find it's just practice and you pick up a sense. Also Some people say it's 6 heads tall for a male's height if that helps.

Thats fucking creepy
I can't use it.

I know the anatomy makes no fucking sense but hey it's hardly human ;) Doom 3 ref though i just made up the body as i went. I definitely need to work on shading now i look at it.

6 heads is for an average / short man. The taller the person the more heads they are or they just looks freaking huge, I'm 8.5 heads for example, if I was 6 I'd probably look terrifying.
Does anyone know a good technique to do chromatic aberration on Photoshop?
yeah it's easy.
get your photo. Then open the channels tab (window > channels)
select the "Red" layer, nudge it 1 pixel to the right
select the "Blue" and "Green" layer, nudge 1 pixel to the left
then select the RGB channel again so it shows all the channels.
and you should have a nicely chromaticly aberrated picture.
Doesn't work. :saddowns:
what part doesnt work?
Do you want me to make a picture explaining it better?

oh yeah I got that on some pictures I tried it on... I think it's because of the image having transparency or something? I'm not sure.
also if you do get it working... theres no need to nudge the green and blue layers, just nudge the red and it'll work.
How large is that companion cube?
It's just over 5x5 inches since I can only print on A4.

Wrong thread

Going to be part of something bigger maybe. v:v:v
Another Photoshop illiterate question: is there a way to make a color be seen as transparent?
As in, if there's blue pixels, make it so all of them are made transparent, based on that color's percentage per-pixel?
Using W usually gives horrid aliasing, and manually editing it on a 5000x7000 image is torture. :suicide:
Layer modes
and masks maybe, works like an alpha channel for the layer.
what's with the little blocky overlay on everything but his face
I think its supposed to be a comic book-esque half tone dot.
it doesn't look remotely like that
it looks stupid
there i said it
yeah I don't really like any of it
sorry

choose one u think fits
and there u go

Something probably came out wrong when I was using the reference photo

Tweaked, further Rusty-fied, but he is the grunge expert here.
