Ahh, you draw faces just like I used to!
The most important first step for me was understanding the planes of the face, as demonstrated here.

Learning all of that helps you understand the face as a 3D object, which makes rendering it a lot easier. Get a good book on facial anatomy, and practice every single day, and I mean actually practice.
Learning to draw takes two things, focus and patience.

I put her in Photoshop so that I could plan out the colors and details. Also after a visit at posemaniacs I think I fixed her boob for the better. I'll throw some red in there too and maybe have a minimalistic use of gold. lemme know what you think so far before I begin shading her body too much.

My head is doing this weird thing where every time my blood pumps past my eyes I lose a little bit of focus. I think that means it's time to sleep.
Maybe throw some textures into the yellow and black - And do something to make the sword more realistic.

The sword is a nice idea but an actual sword like the one used in the movie isn't as straight as that, and that annoyed me right away. Besides that, the Kill Bill font doesn't work. The rounded edges makes it look cheap somehow. Try out a 'stronger' font if that's the correct term for it.
Being pretty much re-introduced to Photoshop myself the only thing I know that can help you is the warp feature when you select the object and transform it.
why not just trace the shape of the blade with the pen tool instead of using warp and ruining the quality?

I really like the idea but the execution seems off, dunno what to suggest :\
I feel like something should be going on at the top of the sword to make it pop a little more, as it seems dull. Not nessicarily anything crazy like blood everywhere, but visually it just appears pretty unintersting up there.
I also don't care for the positioning of the blood splatter, and it seems like someone got a papercut with it (which is ironic considering the gratutious amounts of gore the films have).
I got bored and wanted to make something quickly, so I made a Creeper.

I'm still working on Hunter, but I'm working on a couple other of these at the same time, just to keep from working on the same thing for too long.

Too scratchy lines, make a few long strokes instead of lots of small ones. Don't make a stroke if it doesn't imply a shape, make bolder strokes. It's also stretched vertically.

I don't really get the shapes and geometry in the background. I don't know what part is head and what is body. And yeah, focus on the studies. Maybe stop using digital mediums for a while and do pencil studies and whatnot because the theory is much more important than spending few hours doing a pointless digipaint.
sorry for wasting time on something useless while i could do more studies in those 2 hours I wasted.
but I just got this huge urge to draw something of my own, maybe because it's been like 5 days since the last time i touched my tablet.
Anyways, i'll try to ignore drawing anything that takes more than a half hour that isn't an anatomy study
