A bit better, however there are a few things that still bother.

First off is the big red circle which makes the face look blocky.
second, there is a dent in her jaw, might want to look into that.
and last, possibly the thing that makes it look manly is the wide nose
Thanks, I'll try to fix those later.
The length of her thighs seem uneven.

I think thats because shes protruding one hip
I've got a quick question and this seems to be the best place to ask.
I need to photoshop a newspicture, so what is a good source for newspictures I can use? (most of them are in slideshows and prevent me from using them.
spent a few hours working on the human head

Stop, put down everything, stop drawing heads. Stop drawing humans, and stop drawing organics.
Start drawing boxes and inanimate objects from life before you start drawing stuff like that.
Please, please just stop.
okay,off to draw cans then
Keep doing that until it looks exactly like what you are seeing from rl. Don't worry about shading, just use line. And keep your lines clean, and not sketchy.

Yea Mr_Razzums, don't encourage him to practice! What are you doing trying to teach him how to draw?

I'm not saying he shouldn't practice, I'm just saying to stop harsh criticism on someone who obviously just started drawing

come back in 6 months, after you've refined your skills all around.

I just finished mine

Oh yeah, so he should rather just keep on drawing and getting stuck in a bad place where he has drawn so much he's started to form his own way of doing things wrongly making it harder to break out of the habits INSTEAD OF being tipsed on how to start drawing right from the start so it won't be such a bumpy ride?
Sounds to me like you are the asshole here.
come back in 6 months, after you've refined your skills all around.
im very confused weren't you the one wanting them to stop being harsh? i think its unrealistic for me to come back in 6 months Picasso with no direction
woh 6 months on a cylinder? ill be back in a week or 2
Post something when you think you have something that is worth posting. Don't go for a date, go for a quality standard.

When it comes to basic shapes I don't think there is really much for us to help you with. You should be able to see it for yourself if it looks like a can/triangle/sphere or not.
But if you are thinking of "when I've got them down well and want guidance for what to do next", then sure.

It's been a while, but I made a new shirt.
Got hired for designing a newspaper, it has a tabloid like size (not tabloid the US paper size, the publication type) but it's not a tabloid, It's a small newspaper. Started today, only got the cover

Yep, that's Gaben in the cover.
Just some random stuff I've made and saved over time, still learning. My first post, don't be too harsh. :ohdear:

your first image is quite bad, there's not much technique in it, same with your second one however it is a bit better. The trick to designing logos is to think of a few things before doing it:

type of company

Target audience

Colour palette
you can't just go into a logo with nothing on mind and expecting a great outcome
