I'm actually surprised BF3 won the SP category as well. I haven't played MW3 so I can't comment on its campaign but BF3's campaign was boring as hell.

I don't see how it matters. What I mean is judging from what I'd seen and heard of MW3's campaign, I assumed it was the one aspect where MW3 > BF3. If BF3's campaign is actually better than MW3's then wow, MW3's campaign must be a pile of dogshit.

The MW3 campaign was consistently average where as the BF3 campaign started out stronger but just fumbled the last half of the game. Not to mention such a poorly done story.
Both were typical action schlock but MW3 just told it better. BF3's strategy of showing us events through flashbacks is just about the laziest way you can tell a story.
Overall I'd say they are on about the same level, maybe a bonus to MW3 for actually telling a story with good guys, bad guys, and a tangible threat.

Honestly it was a pretty shitty scene. You had like a last-stand fight in front of it then it came crashing down and looked awful. Which is weird because there are definitely some cool setpieces, not only in MW games but even in MW3.
I like battlefield as they improve on on, [I]sometimes[/I], but CoD I have never seen much improvement but hey I still like it.
I pick favorite games based on how many times I don't get pissed off playing them.
