Did you find that Simpsons sucked before or after The :Movie - General

The Simpsons started getting kinda stale to me around 2003 I think. There is a good one here and there, but most of the ones from then on aren't as humorous as the earlier seasons. I hate to sound like I'm a part of the bandwagon, but I especially dislike how some episodes are trying to be Family Guy with the random humor. Yes, The Simpsons did random humor long before Family Guy, but it was a lot more subtle.

Still like it.

I wouldn't say I found The Simpsons funny, just find it enjoyable and watchable. At the end of the day a bad Simpsons episode is way better than most of the other stuff on TV...

I love the Simpsons, always have.

The seasons before the movie were great! The movie was awesome too, but after that, it went downhill from there.

I personally think its got better

Sucked after the eighth / ninth season (1997), but there are a sprinkle of good episodes here and there.

I still love the simpsons.

If it were based on true story I think Alan would of jumped off a bridge by now or something.

The movie was good, what is your problem? It went downhill around season 8-7

Considering the first season, it's been pretty good since. A lot more memorable than things like Family Guy.

I rarely watch it but the newer ones don't seem really much worse than the old ones. I swear they said the movie was meant to be the end, i'm surprised it's still going on

Some of the jokes in this show are okay, but I still dislike this show.

I've always loved the Simpsons.

Once I noticed how often they repeat the same basic idea (note, bible or religion episodes) I began to see how it has declined in quality. Also, I know Lisa is supposed to be nerdy and not a typical 8 year old, but she is FAR to opinionated, whiny and overall intelligent to even pass as a supernerdy child. I just want to stab her in the face. Repeatedly.

Simpsons have gone downhill, but the newer episodes are pretty good.

They started to decline in quality slightly before the movie, then the movie was pretty good and now they're churning out episodes that are just trying too hard to be funny. :saddowns:

Its still good but I think they did ruin the opening with the HD crap

Personally I'm indifferent with the new opening, I would've preferred a clean redo in HD. The episode with the Winter Olympics wasn't amazing, but I loved the moments with Fatov the Russian Olympics mascot. For some reason I found them hilarious. the simpsons is so unoriginal and immature that I never really thought it was decent
