I'm just gonna wait for the teenager atheists to come saying how they don't care about the meaning or anything. Well I know I don't. It is already lost. If I wanted to have a real Christmas celebration, I'd do it with my family, because I don't think you can make everyone care that much at the moment.
Jesus was not born on December 25th. In reality Christmas is not a christian holiday. The Christians hijacked it from Pagan winter solstice celebrations. Christmas is open for everyone to celebrate, for me (an atheist) it's not about Jesus or Religion at all. I see it as a day for everyone to get together with loved ones and have a damn good time. Merry Christmas everyone.
It's the desperate-and-afraid-of-dying-alone-booty-call-season.
Christmas means whatever the fuck you want it to mean, as does every other day
I don't celebrate christmas since no one gifts stuff to me and I got no one to gift stuff to either.
OP should of used this video :smith: edit: too bad its not allowed god dammit

People always say its about giving, and then right after then demand a present, honestly, nobody would celebrate it if you would just give and not receive.
Christmas is about giving, not receiving. It's a time for brotherly love and good cheer. It's a time for turning off your computer and spending time with friends and family. It's a time to be a little nicer than usual. It's a time to stop being enemies for a while and be friendly. It's a time to put your worries aside and live.
No it's about Jesus. Or money.
The true meaning of Christmas is to convert Pagans. It always warms my heart to see a Christmas-time Pagan converted into the religion of Our Lord!
It always warms my cock to see people in merry cheer.
This thread is so depressing.
This thread is so depressing.
You wanna know what really depresses me? Posts like this one:
It always warms my cock to see people in merry cheer.
:smith:
-snip, this post was most definitely not in the Christmas spirit-
I love everyone here, I'd hug you guys but there's my monitor blocking the way i wish i could gift people things, im a nice guy but i'm broke sadly

Christmas is about giving gifts, having fun and spending time with your family. I celebrate it. I'm a teenage Atheist.
People need to make Christmas less materialistic. I love using Christmas as an excuse to visit family.
Religion? Nope! :fuckyou:
Thread involves John Lennon thus OP is correct.
Christmas is about dem gifts.
Exactly! I keep telling my parents that but they still won't buy me everything I want! Sometimes I swear they are so selfish...
its about a virgin giving birth and three kings and some other shit. i am part of the grinch subtype of the human species.
Christmas this year is mainly going to be about how great it is to spend a day by the fire with your family. [editline]22nd December[/editline] Mainly because of all this bloody snow preventing the mail with the gifts we ordered getting through.
Thread involves John Lennon thus OP is correct.
I always know just how to make people listen to me. :smug:
its about happiness
I think of Christmas just like any other holiday. It's an excuse to get together with a big group of family and friends ever year and have a good time.
If christmas happened in a warm season, I'd prefer it. Shit, with all this slush on the ground and negative temperatures I can't do nout, except stay inside and eat unhealthy christmas food and ruin the work that the Gym has been building. If Christmas took place in summer I could go out longboarding, or go for a jog without hiking gear on
