Got a feeling that they are purely funding this game on hype money
It's actually really fucking weird to see such a huge hype campaign for this game. ME3 had one and I feel like that game killed other AAA titles doing the same thing

its not a hype campaign if it has the opposite effect on people as more information comes out

ME1 had better facial movements. The fuck is going on with this game?????
the most shining example of uncanny valley I've ever seen
This game is going to be a hilarious mess i love it already.

I'm starting to wonder if they've got a generic twist in store in that all the humans in this game are actually robots or something, because what the fuck man.
That bartender tho. Love how they clearly didn't post the fingers at all so her hands are just clipping into her waist.

Looks like they hired the Cinematic Mod character modeller?

Too late (spoiler for recent game), [sp]Horizon: Zero Dawn already did that.[/sp]

Why do you think i said a "generic twist"
I still find it fucking unbelievable that pre-ME3 galactic civilization could find the time or resources to build up a single goddamn Nexus, let alone three or four, with a comparable quantity and quality of technology found on the Citadel.

I had a similar problem with Bioshock: A metric fuck-ton of resources & people vanish to build an underwater city in the North Atlantic during WW2, and somehow they kept it all a secret.

He is wrong tho. [Sp]The humans in HZD are perfectly normal. The real twist is different[/sp]
The only thing I've seen so far about this game that's gonna annoy me is Ryder's WALK ANIMATION it literally looks like a worse version of this:
fem krogans are also so extremely rare due to the genophage (by the time this particular ship leaves for its voyage) and are required to sit around and be house wives (or... cave wives or whatever) to prevent the extinction of their own race. in their culture there is no "but women need to go out to space and do space things too"; this is literally life or death. if this krogan is a woman that means ME:A completely ignores previously established canon.
actually thats not what it means at all. female krogans were so fiercely guarded because they were only on TUCHANKA, and were extremely susceptible to clan warfare and so needed to be protected to ensure the viability of a given clan. i'm doubtful that this is a problem on the nexus which is the CENTER OF THE ANDROMEDA INITIATIVE'S COMMUNITY. i'm willing to bet that they'll stick it into the lore somewhere that the female krogan were quite excited for the initiative in fact, given that it's an opportunity to get away from all the bullshit in the milky way-- just like legit everybody else on the initiative. and just for the record, that presumably female krogan sounds similar to Eve from ME3 in that she doesn't have the grumbly krogan voice going on, so don't say that shit aint lore friendly.
i think it's really concerning that people are so hasty to say "REMEMBER RED GREEN OR BLUE?!?! THATS HOW THE NEW GAME IS GONNA BE. RED GREEN OR BLUE PEOPLE" at like the stupidest, smallest, most nitpicky shit without actually trying to consider what's going on lorewise
and like dont get me wrong i'm not defending the rest of the shitty voice acting/animations/etc, but like that krogan is clearly meant to be a female and nitpicking it with the excuse of calling it canon-breaking is just dumb
Boy I can't wait to porchase those upgrades
What in the fuck are these facial animations? That krogans voice? This is trash!

Not quite. I think you're mixing them up with Salarians who have a largely skewed gender ratio due to some form or alien equivalent of haplodiploidy that causes males to outnumber females several times over, leaving females to be heads of families and governing bodies.
It's fertile krogan females which are rare and a small part of the population. iirc there has never been anything to suggest females as a whole, infertile and fertile, aren't a 1 to 1 ratio with males, like Turians. They just live separately from males on Krogan colonies and don't do the whole 'go out into space as mercenaries and die' thing quite as often.
and like Baconator 7 said, taking fertile females on ships with the intent of establishing new colonies is kinda a requirement of establishing new colonies.

Canon is dumb and Mass Effect has already gone against previously established canon in previous games.

I thought we reached a conclusion a couple of ME:A threads back that comparing Witcher 3 to ME:A is unfair because CD Projekt Red actually gave a fuck about their game.

oh my holy fuck what the hell is up with the asari in this game
also can I please play a role playing game without "hey look this couple is GAY! this person is TRANS! that's not even a person in a progressive WAY!" shit?

I didn't notice any of that, frankly. I see a lot people say that someone of the cast is trans, I still don't know what they're talking about, and I've watched every trailer...
As someone super progressive thinks the normalization of the portrayal of LGBTQ in games, holy Christ the character in DA I that is trans is gross. He exists to speak in one cutscene and have another character talk about how cool trans people are
Then does nothing for the rest of the game

It's not unfair when Bioware insists their game is at the same level of quality, or deserves to be in the same pay grade as Witcher 3.

What about the gay companion in Inquistion whose whole backstory is 'my dad tried to make me straight via magic'

Are you talking about Krem? The female character that wants to be considered a man in a world where magic exists?
It's not unfair when Bioware insists their game is at the same level of quality, or deserves to be in the same pay grade as Witcher 3.
But they're the guys who came up with ME3 ending and defended it, you're asking too much from retarded people.
What about the gay companion in Inquistion whose whole backstory is 'my dad tried to make me straight via magic'
There's also the straight guy that's suddenly bisexual for no reason in Dragon Age 2, and then promptly blows up an orphanage.
I guess that's what Bioware meant when they said, "Press a button, something awesome happens?"
