You're going up in the world
Slowly, but surely! Maybe I'll create an official TPS topic on Facepunch, if that's called for. It seems the FP community is the right audience for the show.
What is the point of the intro characters? Im just wondering because they didn't appear in the show. But yeah you should get one of those commissioners on deviantart to draw some, wii's character isn't very fitting.

I suppose they only make sense for followers of MoaBG (my blog, click to see) - they're Fitzgerald (PS3), Coleridge (360), Auden (Wii) and Faulks (PC), and they're probably going to be featured in little "mini-animated comics" in the show and in larger, static comics on MoaBG in due course. My art style has improved since creating those particular drawings (or, at least, that's what I think; see some of the newer stuff in the Art tab on MoaBG). They were simply intended to be quirky representations of the consoles so that they conveyed the show's style while not looking overtly "better" or "worse" than each other. I'll re-do those title cards soon-ish - I haven't got my Bamboo close at hand to do them now.
OP updated with the latest episode.
But yeah you should get one of those commissioners on deviantart to draw some, wii's character isn't very fitting.
If you want to check out this page at MoaBG, I've redone the four characters with the aid of a Bamboo tablet, not a scanner - and at least in my eyes they look much better. On that page, you can aldso read a little of the story behind their designs.
Sub'd.
Sub'd.
Thanks, mate! I really appreciate it. (Don't forget to tell your friends!) I now have 60 subscribers! Yes, it's hardly at Yogscast/charlieissocoolike levels, but then again was it ever likely to be?
The people over on SA didn't like them, chin up mate
Haha - that's an understatement. I don't think I've ever been at the receiving end of that much concentrated abuse - though then again it was a little silly of them to dismiss the entire show because of the drawings at the start. Yes, they're not masterpieces, but the new drawings are better and they weren't that bad, right? Right?
Please get a microphone
I assume you're referring to the sub-par audio quality - this is something I'm aware of, but will hopefully be remedied when I move next month to a location that will have better acoustics, which will make the sound better.
no, you need an external mic
Is it really that bad? Sadly, my camera doesn't have an external mic input, so I'll have to wait until I have the money for a new camcorder if it's truly necessary.
stick a mic in your computer, use a clapper and synchronize
Thanks, I'll see what I can do!
I quite liked the show, you've certainly put a lot of effort into it. My only problem was that the intro is a bit long, but it can be skipped so it's not all bad

I'm just happy if all that work results in a happy viewer and a few extra subscriptions here and there! As for the intro, trimming out the mascots should fix the issue you mention.
Haha, I love watching your vids mate, you look like someone that would be a really cool guy. Good luck on everything! :buddy:
Isn't this guy always begging for views around here?
Isn't this guy always begging for views around here?
If it seems that way, I'm sorry. But I produce a lot of content that doesn't seem to be seen by anyone - and when I post it on Facepunch, it gets views and a lot of moralising positive feedback. I'm not begging for views - I just want to become a valued community member and produce high-quality content.
Just wanted to say, I will try to do any graphics design you might need. :)
Just wanted to say, I will try to do any graphics design you might need. :)
Fantastic! We'll see, I suppose - what sort of graphic design does the show need? Thanks for subscribing, everyone - I'm almost at 80 subscribers! Can I reach 100 before the end of the month?
Subscribed  Good sense of humour, and seemingly unbiased views.
Subscribed  Good sense of humour, and seemingly unbiased views.
Thank you! One of the key things about MoaBG, The Pixel Show and all my content is that there's no point being snarky. They will stay relentlessly, unassailably positive until there is infinite proof that something is worthy of such harsh treatment. Plus, cynicism's been done. I'd like to think of myself as a much less cynical version of Yahtzee. Thank you for the compliments on my humour, as well, mate :) Why not read MoaBG as well?
This show really does deserve more views - I really enjoyed it.
This show really does deserve more views - I really enjoyed it.
Thank you very much for your kind words, and also for your subscription! I've sent an e-mail to Penny Arcade, detailing what my content is and what it's all about. I wonder what they'll think of it?
This is pretty good, well done sir!
So now I turn to the Pixel Show community. What should be featured on Tuesday's show? It's your decision!
How about the Red Orchestra beta or do you wait for the full game to come out?
Possibly, haven't heard much about Red Orchestra. I'll look into it and see if I can say something interesting about it.
That air horn caught me by surprise, I enjoyed it great work! +Sub
