I made this some time ago [thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/32006613/knife_closed.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/32006613/knife_open.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/32006613/knife_parts.jpg[/thumb] Not really big or impressive but it's fun as hell to play with. If only it would stop breaking when it falls :(
LEGO LOTR. I'll see if I find some better pictures.
Ho-ly shit. [editline]6th February 2012[/editline]
When I realised that the new bionicles are same as 2000 bionicles, with just replaced masks I was REALLY dissapointed
wat. I guess you mean stars, and that is NOT true (as only 1 of them is from 2000 and is rebuilt with the same mask)
Why did nobody tell me this thread existed sooner? The 2011 sets were just fuckin' awful. The only one I liked that I picked up was that ice dragon thing, and it was only for the sheer novelty value of getting it with Skyrim.
I fucking love Legos. I have a few sets I bought recently. I work at Target and I love stocking that isle and looking at the displays. The 2012 City Legos are pretty good, although I think I prefer last years. I want that fucking Space Shuttle. The 2011 City Sets were the greatest since the City Sets were created. The Planes, Trains and Cars along with all those Fire Station and Police play sets. Those were some of the most cleverly designed, playable and asthetically pleasing City Sets I've ever seen.
I really want to get all of the modular city sets, but they're too expensive.
We used to have helicopters like this: I mean look at the original 'Rescue Chopper Set' from 1973 And now they look like this: I would've killed to have that set when I was growing up instead of the tiny blocky choppers.

I did see some of the NASA tie-in sets, but I never checked 'em out. It's a move that I regret.

I LOVE the Space ones. I remember for Christmas one year I got the original launch pad and shuttle with sound effects and lights. That was awesome. I want the new space sets now. I also like the collectable mini-figs you can get. I used to get one every paycheck.
I still have this guy.
I guess you mean stars, and that is NOT true (as only 1 of them is from 2000 and is rebuilt with the same mask)
No I mean there was a line of bionicles which exactly replicated the old bionicles and just swapped their masks I think it was a line which was before the line which was before the stars
I've been working on a stopmotion film and was wondering where can I get some lego city buildings if they even make them.

Ahhh, this thread smells of my childhood. If I had more money when I was younger, I would have bought all the lego.
I noticed the pink haired punk rocker guy from stunt rally was on the train at 1:36 on the intro to Lego Loco.
Lego was the backbone of which my childhood supported itself. Albeit one made of plastic bricks, but a good one nonetheless.

Pretty much my first lego set, got it from Stockholm around the age of maybe 6. Oh my the memories. I still have the parts in my box, along with 228424727267626562101 other parts.
I went to the Lego Store in the Palisades Mall. It was fucking awesome. I took some pictures of the displays for you guys. [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMG_04482.JPG[/t] [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMG_04492.JPG[/t] [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMG_04502.JPG[/t] [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMG_04473.JPG[/t] I got both Space Shuttles. The playset and the giant model one. [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMG_04601.JPG[/t] The small one only took me twenty minutes, but I'll have to build the big one some other day when I have the time.

minecraft lego is available for pre-order, and i must say, i'm a little dissapointed https://www.jinx.com/LEGOMinecraft wait, how are we going to get the 1X1 blocks off each other? it also comes with a Steve and a Creeper minifig it's pretty expensive at £35, not sur ei'll be picking it up, even though i'm a big fan of both minecraft and lego
I'll get one anyway but I'm definitely disappointed. With the exception of the Steve and Creeper micro figs the rest of that could be made yourself by ordering the pieces and you'd probably save yourself some money. And why micro-scale? I've only seen MEGA sets like the London Bridge and Micro Town sets made in that size because they are, well, you know. GIANT. No reason for Minecraft to be made in Micro scale. [editline]16th February 2012[/editline] That's an acceptable micro set because using sizes a Mini-Fig could use would be impossible. That bridge would be MASSIVE.
