No, it won't help
Sure this won't help? http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/MIL1200-1.html
For some odd reason I think this is all exciting even though it's not that widespread.
Lately I have not had any appetite, I have been coughing and been feeling ill. However I don't think it is this.
Sure this won't help? http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/MIL1200-1.html
In crowded areas, consider wearing a respiratory mask. (According to Wikipedia, "recommendations to protect against the avian flu indicated that using a face mask with a rating of N99, N100 or P100 in the United States or a rating of FFP3 in Europe should be effective in protecting against transmission") Bearing in mind this isn't nuclear, or a bioterrorism attack.
Lately I have not had any appetite, I have been coughing and been feeling ill. However I don't think it is this.
I'm having the same thing here in NC. Swine flu pioneers!
i only found out about this because of this thread. doesn't seem that bad, why's everybody worried?
Same. But apparently it was in the news yesterday for 10 minutes, it's just a fucking flu, what the hell.
There have been like what, 2500 cases of swine flu in the whole world? Now compare that with the normal flu which has millions of cases, and the same symptoms. So if you feel some of those symptoms you probably have a normal flu. Unless there have been infected people near the place where you live, you shouldn't worry.
Brilliant, the WHO is giving up on containing it. Where do I get the molotovs?
Ok, how's Madacascar?
Ok, how's Madacascar?
no infections
Brilliant, the WHO is giving up on containing it. Where do I get the molotovs?
You rip up a shirt, stuff the cloth into a bottle filled with alcohol (Not sure if the type of alcohol matters), tip it up and down a few times, then set light to the cloth and throw.
no infections
I meant, is their only cheap-ass port still open or did they close it down?
Brilliant, the WHO is giving up on containing it. Where do I get the molotovs?
There's no real reason and no realistic way of containing it; all we can do is learn to cope with it. It doesn't appear to be killing any more people, and most of the sick in Mexico are recovering healthily.
I meant, is their only cheap-ass port still open or did they close it down?
They closed it down before the swine flu was ever even reported...

Killing everyone who has it and potentially nuking areas of mass infection
They closed it down before the swine flu was ever even reported...
Indonesia did the same. Fucking bastards.
Well.. my condition has worsened. My migraine headache was pulsating last night and when I got up this morning, I had a nasal drip all last night and my nose was clogged this morning. I'm coughing a lot, but my cough isn't that dry like yesterday. My sore throat is still there but not as severe as yesterday. I'm sluggish, but I can atleaast move. And for some insane reason I decided to come to work today :)
Check the bacon before you eat it!
I also lol'd at this:
After simmering for months in Guangdong, China, the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) virus had exploded in Hong Kong, Vietnam, Singapore, Canada, the U.S. and 14 other countries. It had a seriously scary fatality rate of 10%. But as quickly as it came, it just as quickly faded away. The virus turned out not to be as contagious as feared. To date, the World Health Organization estimates that 774 people died from SARS. Most of the deaths occurred in Hong Kong and other areas in Southern China--where officials let the outbreak fester too long without taking steps to contain it. Here in the U.S. there were only eight reported SARS cases, all nonfatal. SARS was scary, for sure. But it affected only a specific region. And the deaths were mostly to blame on incompetent public health officials.
ok... but this isn't HAPPENING in china.. it's happening here... :v: Stupid media. There was this turkish dude who just joined our Insurgency game. All he did was bitching about how he got the Swine flu. There you have it, folks, new jews.
Assuming you're no where near an area of infection you've most likely got a bad summer cold.
does it matter? it's spread all over the place. mexico- new york- scotland...
does it matter? it's spread all over the place. mexico- new york- scotland...
Uhh yeah since just because it's in Scotland it doesn't mean the rest of the UK is infected.
It's probably worth mentioning that standard flu kills between 4,000 to 20,000 people in the UK. Which is why everyone is scared of this new strain, since it's shaping up to rather dangerous. Also it's managing to damage the stock markets as well, after the European Commissioner for Health asked for the public to avoid travelling to the US and Mexico unless on urgent buisness. Then stock prices for most major airlines starting dropping. However, the disease isn't centred around the common tourist areas in Mexico, so most toursist are safe.
It's a pretty selfish thing to go into work when you're ill I think.
How am I being selfish?
How am I being selfish?
Because you're going into work for yourself at the possible expense of giving other people illness.
Because you're going into work for yourself at the possible expense of giving other people illness.
I work at a hospital.
