My mum doesnt care. Although I work at a hospital, she'd get mad if I asked the doctors/nurse to check me out. She gave me this concoction of applesauce mixed with garlic and made me drink it. Then told me to gargle with warm salt water. I downed a spoon of honey to get the taste of of my mouth. She feels that I am over reacting and will just embarrass her if I ask the to take a look at me. :(
also says she can't afford for me to be sick... so.. yeah

So let's say that hypothetically you've somehow contracted swine flu and you don't realise it since it's symptoms of a normal flu/cold, you then come into contact with a young child who gets admitted a day later and then dies a further day later you'd just go "Huh well it wasn't my fault no need for me to feel guilty"

The way I understand it, this flu is a mix of a few different flus, and contains antigens that are difficult for even a healthy person to make antibodies for. So yeah, even people with healthy immune systems can get sick.
