TWO PEOPLE HAVE DIED IN CALIFORNIA! http://www.ktla.com/landing_news/?Two-Possible-Swine-Flu-Deaths-Probed-in=1&blockID=277903&feedID=171
Yeah, but modern medicine is useless unless preventative steps are taken. Unlike bird flu, swine flu is human-human transmissible. Factor in this: Cytokine storms are caused when a healthy and robust immune system gets confused and ends up inflaming areas of the body, which can damage tissues and block airways - leading to death. Oh, and then look at this. And to round off with this if you're a Brit. Now, personally, I'm starting to get a bit worried.
One of the smart ones are getting worried!!!!!!!!111!!one! We be doomed
Hm. The WHO says 2%, and they're a more credible source in my opinion. I hate conflicting sources.
Hm. The WHO says 2%, and they're a more credible source in my opinion. I hate conflicting sources.
So credible that they put the U.S at numero 37 in their 2000 A.D report.
Now you need to go read that they thought the same thing was happening in 73' and how it was nothing. Quit fear mongering, show both sides. Not to mention that was almost 100 years ago. I'm pretty sure we have advanced in medicine since then.
I've just read about the 1976 outbreak. I still have no idea why nothing materialized (it appears noone else does either). The CDC mentioned 2 viruses at fort dix, and the possibility that one pushed the other one out of existence. The outbreak lasted less that 2 months, with cases peaking in january and tailing off in February. The disease also never left the state of new jersey it appears. So clearly there are big differences between this and the 1976 outbreak.
TWO PEOPLE HAVE DIED IN CALIFORNIA! http://www.ktla.com/landing_news/?Two-Possible-Swine-Flu-Deaths-Probed-in=1&blockID=277903&feedID=171
One already died 6 days ago, when no one knew about the new virus. But both cases are not yet confirmed to be releated to swine flu. They showed symptoms but it could have been any other flu.
Ok, I'm not that calm anymore. One word: Fuck! If it is swine flu of course.
They key word here is "possible"
yeah, I heard that the majority of it doesn't actually come from pigs, Swine flu being something of a misnomer

This is like a miniature version of Left 4 Dead but you dont become infected, you just die.
I got some numbers from the WHO Land: number of confirmed cases (number of confirmed deaths) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mexiko: 26(7) USA: 40 (0) Canada: 6(0) Spain: 2(0) New Zeeland: 3(0) United Kingdom: 2(0) Israel: 2(0) ------------------------------- Overall: 81(7) Mortality rate right now: 8.64% So even if you get the swine flu, you have a chance of over 90% of surviving it. Now, calm down.
We shall become stalkers.
i bet loads of dumb mexicans are gonna fly to different countries so they don't catch it even though they already have it and will just end up spreading it around quicker
This is like a miniature version of Left 4 Dead but you dont become infected, you just die.
But I thought the infection was what made you die.. ?
