http://doihaveswineflu.org/
fuck i have it.
Hey guys maybe we should move to Madagascar. :hurr:
Also, I heard this won't kill you if you're well nourished.
Is the Well Nourished part a Dead Frontier reference?
No it means that if you're well nourished it won't kill you.
i'm really worried. All schools in fort worth ISD (dallas fort worth texas) have been shut down... no school till may 8th. Furthermore, my dad is a doctor and we are both experiencing symptoms, although he told me not to worry because he said "worrying about having it or thinking you have it can lead to symptoms of it, causing you to think you have it"
I'm not too sure :(

if you have it, deal with it, its the flu. You're not going to die unless you're chronically ill, an infant, or elderly, and if you were any of those I doubt you'd be on FP.
If you do get it, prepare for major diarrhea.
That sucks here in Katyisd (Harris County) all we've had is closures due to major flooding. Our schools though keep telling us to watch for the symptoms and to stay clean.
The regular flu kills what, 30,000 a year? This has killed what, 1 infant?
They just said on my local news channel that Missouri now has it's first case of Swine Flu. Great, especially since I live in this damn place.

Yep.
Even if it only kills a few people you should still PANIC, given it's scientifically proven that PANIC is good for the immune systPANIC and disposable or filtered PANICrators are sexPANIC to PANIC iPANIC PANICPANICPANICPANICPANICPANICPANICPANICPANIC
So am I the only one buying a respirator just so I can look like an asian hoodlum without having to worry about freaking people out?
Thinking of the 3M series 6000, although the filters being pink is a bummer.

Mine is next saturday too.
However, I think prom would be awesome with everyone in masks.

The point of prevention is to prevent a large number of deaths, not to have a large number of deaths then decide to act.
It's like saying back in 2005 "No need to evacuate New Orleans citizens, this is only a dangerous hurricane that has killed many people in the Caribbean. No need to freak out about Katrina."

obama is now president
pigs can fly from our noses
it's his evil illuminati plan

We're not going to be able to "contain" this, no matter how hard you try. We can vaccinate ourselves but its too late to stop this from becoming the new flu. It's just another shot you'll have to get.
There's a difference between a dangerous hurricane that you can see and avoid and influenza which cannot be seen by the human eye and multiplies millions of a times a minute. It's too late, if you wanted to stop it we had to stop it in Mexico.
No one on FP has to worry about death from the swine flu, but of course they have been coerced into thinking that's what is going to happen and nothing anyone can say will change their mind
WOOT! live in the Dallas,FW area but school still going.
It just seems that people are asking alot of good questions, but getting no answers from the government. All they say is the same thing over and over... "Wash your hands. Stay away from people. Don't go to work if you're sick, and don't send your kids to school if they're sick"
Is it safe to go to the grocery store?
Is it safe to even step outside your front door without worrying about suddenly feeling like you're going to throw up an hour later?
They said on Inside Edition, that these masks will not help against this thing. That you can get sick with or without it. Isn't that comforting to know?
They say that the virus' particles are so small, it'll go right through the mask.

Like, is it safe to go to the grocery store now?
Is it safe to even step outside without worrying about suddenly feeling like you're going to throw up an hour later?

It's been safe the entire time to do that. Just keep your hygiene good and you will be fine. After the grocery store just wash your hands.
Inside Edition is retarded, the flu isn't airborne.

Basically the masks are to help prevent you from touching your face. Or having someone possibly cough or sneeze in your direction because sneezes and coughs can travel very fucking far.
Masks may not help because of the particles of mucus that may travel in the air that can possibly squeeze through.
