why are people so anti-gene manipulation? WHY!? look where it's getting us we're all gonna die because of it!!! if only those mad christian bastards diden't prevent science I could have lived through this.
What? Do you even have a basic idea of how genetic manipulation works? How on earth could genetic modification save us from swine flu?
good news thread goers!
Preliminary analysis also reveals that the NS1 protein at the center of the virus - a protein responsible for the severity of the immune response produced by the virus- does not seem unusual. This suggests that the virus is unlikely to trigger severe cytokine storms similar to those caused by the 1918 pandemic flu virus.
Hey guys, let's have some more good news: There is no evidence of the swine flu virus spreading in a sustained way outside North America, a top World Health Organization official says.
i hope swine flu goes away real quick coz i dont fancy getting it
Really? Only I'm sure everyone here would be positively thrilled to contract it.
There's been what, 10 deaths since April 3rd (1st confirmed case)? Oh, no, we're all going to die. It's Captain Trips!
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/30471035/ Take your anti-virals kids.
I have a feeling the anti-virals=flintstone pills. Something that could be like a no-brainer or something. Can't believe Obama has put protecting America against the swine flu at then top of his agenda! Is it really that much of a threat right now that IT NEEDS TO BE AT THE TOP, not like 2nd or 3rd? I'm kind of surprised. But hey, I'm sure it's not gonna stay at the top for long.
It's on the top of priorities till it's taken care of, it could become a serious issue if not dealt with swiftly.

I never understood that, someone please explain it to me.
Play pandemic 2, Madagascar is one of the HARDEST places to infect due to only one way of entering the country, if they shut down their ports you cannot infect the entire world.
I heard stories of people infecting Madagascar, not sure if they're lying or not though.
Mexico isn't as bad as you think.
Yeah, it is. Visit scenic "anywhere that isn't Tijuana, Mexico City, or a border town".
It's also a virus, so your living conditions shouldn't really affect it.
umm living conditions have an impact on your immune system and overall health so...yeah, your living conditions affect how badly it hits you
I heard stories of people infecting Madagascar, not sure if they're lying or not though.
Of course they're lying. Madagascar is nigh-impregnable.
It's amusing watching that live map slowly fill up. Soon the entire world will be black, save Madagascar and Antarctica.
Live map? And here I am making my own like a sucker! Link please?
I heard stories of people infecting Madagascar, not sure if they're lying or not though.
Not really. I've done it a couple of times. I got all badges on Kongregate.
