I think people are overreacting because the media and health authorities exaggerate the truth about the flu. It's like this How a nonchalant person sees the flu "AHH-CHOO! Oh sorry, excuse me" How a paranoid person sees the flu "AHH-CHOO! oh my god I sneezed! Oh no I got the swine flu! AHHH! I must quarantine myself to prevent people from infection! Oh no this thread IS DOOM!" How a smart person sees the flu "AHH-CHOO! Must be one of those random sneezes. Either it's the dusty air or my nose is irrated. If my temperature is high and I constantly sneezes, I know I must be ill today. I'll cover my mouth next time if i were to sneeze" How a terrorist sees the flu "AHH-CHOO!" Oh I sneezed! Wait, I must be having the flu and I could use this flu as a TERRORIST WEAPON! and best of all, no one will know! Muahahahaha!"

Swine Flu is going to hit the 3rd world nations hard! Also due to free health care, provided by the communist state, I don't need to mask up. We've got top notch doctors thanks due the free education the state provides.

So far, normal flu has claimed more lives than swine flu 3 to 1, but it spreads faster, and also being a new and different strand makes it for a slightly more dangerous illness.
