You don't go to the doctor only because you've got a sore throat.
Atleast I don't do, and I'm pretty hypochondric.
I usually eat loads on honey. ^_^
How long till the pain goes away and I can eat/drink again without suffering?
go to the doctor, genius
I did go, infact I went twice and they give me medication that did not help and said it would be k, after they said it would be k, it was infact not k at all.
It's a load of rubbish like 'bird flu' or sars. Next we'll have the 'cow flu...wait a minute, the sheep flu, the 'goat flu...
Bird flu still exists, and is killing people, mainly in vietnam. It has largely been contained thanks to vaccinations, however. SARS was wiped out in 2003ish. In total they have killed about a thousand people so far.
Just because the media isn't interested any more doesn't mean they don't exist.
I believe I have strep throat, anyone got a remedy for a really fucking sore throat?
I just had it.
For temporary relief, take a tablespoon of cayenne powder and a cup of warm water. Mix it real good and then gargle and spit. DO NOT SWALLOW IT, you will puke.
After awhile I took a capsule of benadryl and an aspirin, both of which worked great. If you can though, go buy some Theraflu for extreme colds. That shit works wonders.

^I like your name. It somehow mixes up wit your avatar.
Better off if it was Mario.
We've just got a bunch of little piglets and I've come in contact with them and I'm not scared at all
Mainly because swineflu's already come and gone 20 years ago and we were fine.
Don't forget scaremongering news companies overblowing this whole thing.

he said he thinks it's strep, in that case the earlier it's treated the faster recovery. in fact i'm pretty sure you need antibiotics.
at least call the doctor
Ugh. Still feeling sickly. If I go to the nurse at school and say that I'm not feeling well (Like, if I have diarrhea or I've been vomiting) the nurse will ask me "Why didn't you just stay home?". Since I'm living in NY, everyone has been getting pretty paranoid about this Flu, and it's starting to tick me off. My Dad could get in trouble for sending me to school like this.

5 schools I know were shut down from Swine Flu, come on, we need some more drugs!
Fuck yeah, Swine Flu in my hometown of Stevenage! A family has been confirmed with the case.
Even more of a reason to leave this shit hole.
It's being expected to be announced as a full blown pandemic today, so we're all fucked and we should start murdering and burning anyone with it.
why is Latvia uninfected?
why is Latvia uninfected?
Eventually, everywhere will be infected, but then a vaccine will come out, thus noone will care anymore.

Pandemic != Mass Deaths
Pandemic just means it has spread beyond it's original area.

Quick to the antartic! UKs only black because some woman died while giving birth really early, obviously she was infected with swine flu as well.
Didn't "WHO" raise the warning level to the top? The sickness has spread, not being deadly for those who live well, should handle like a normal flu or a visit at the doctor, pills and you'll be fine.

:ughh: Yes go outside whilst you have a highly contageous virus, that's not how this whole mess started. If you think you have swine flu ring either NHS Direct in the UK or I'd assume CDC in America.
Yay pandemic

Actually she died 2 weeks after she had had her baby that was born 11 weeks early.
I've lost the UK swine flu map that the BBC used to have up which I would point and laugh at seeing as I'm surrounded by cases :v:
Actually that's a bit out of date there's 20 something in Yorkshire now I think.
How many are there in Oxfordshire?
