Florida. :D
It's hot as hell now though. But in two weeks it might go down a bit. Dunno.
Come visit me garry :D
Cuba, smoke Cohibas, drink the finest rum and fuck bitches
i would literally not go to mexico at all unless you really want to. everything is ridiculously expensive in the tourist cities, and there is about a block difference between civilization and shitty slums where all the locals look at you with a if-you-walk-out-of-sight-of-the-main-city-i'm-gonna-stab-you-and-steal-your-valuables look. i did go para-sailing in cozumel which was nice but boring.

florida sucks, the land is all flat and it's full of old people. the beaches suck most of the year too and are full of trash and fat women walking around with their lard oozing out of their swimsuits
Try coming down to good 'ol Georgia, the state, not the country. The flood waters should be drying up by now, and it's a great temperature, just not in the morning.
Go on a Cruise, if you want fun go on a Carnival Cruise, if you want to just relax and enjoy it all go Royal Caribbean.
Absolutely this. Make sure it goes to the Caribbean. Took Royal Caribbean myself once. Great ships, lots of things to keep you entertained and lots of options for food. There was this place that gave out free slices of pizza 24/7. It was good and I miss it. If you do this, absolutely do take the time to plan your own activities off the ship. You will definitely not regret it. The tours that cruise liners contract to are always overcrowded, so unless that doesn't bother you, do the research and find the smaller tours.

I'd recommend, but I don't know shit about traveling.
From what I understand Cancun is kind of Spring Break hot spot these days. So unless you're going on Spring Break then you should be fine, but expect it to be fairly touristy and somewhat populated.
If I was going to go on holiday somewhere tropical, I'd go to Bora Bora. It's fairly secluded and is one of the most beautiful tropical locations on the planet.
Hey Garry! Try Boracay, Philippines, it's beautiful. I'd recommend a drive to London or Manchester, and planning with Qatar Airways. They are a beautiful 5 Star Airline. Your best bet would most probably be Manchester/London to Doha to Manila. From Manila a flight to Boracay. Boracay wasn't really affected by the typhoons, so it's still beautiful. I might be there for Halloween weekend actually. Also, if you want, I can help you plan out some of your activities. ATV's are fantastic, so is SCUBA Diving, Hiking through the nice jungles, trying some local delicacies, etc. some of the local clubs are pretty fun too I guess. It depends on who's coming with. The beach is a must of course, just relaxing and laying back there is beautiful. If you want, you could also try going to multiple places there, like, Subic Bay, which is pretty cool if you're into some wildlife you don't get in England. Cagayan De Oro would be great for white water rafting with friends, but, I think they were hit by the typhoon. If you're into sight seeing, The Philippines is full of it, Volcanoes, Old Churches, Old Spanish Towns (Vigan City), Fort Intramuros, Corregidor, etc. Most probably, Boracay would be your best bet if you're into more fun than sight seeing though. It's a beautiful country all around though.
Boracay (Not Affected)

Cagayan De Oro (Affected by the Typhoons, I think.)

Vigan City (Probably not Affected)

If you seriously want to consider going here, tell me, I'll try to recommend some cool visits and activities.

Also, if you take anything besides Philippine Airlines, you might arrive in the shitty local airport, but, don't let that give you a first impression of the Philippines. The people are friendly, always smiling, and very nice to foreigners. Even in these times of flood.
Also, garry you can try a small Bed & Breakfast hotel my aunt owns called "The Lazy Dog Inn"
Her golden retrievers roam around and they own a restaurant below since it's all their property. You can just catch breakfast there or in the local market. Not to mention, the beach is like a 30 second walk away from there. There's wifi, and she was the mayor of Boracay before, she'll seriously make you fall in love with the island. Take you diving, show you secret beaches, etc.
Or you can go to Friday's Boracay, which is another great hotel.
The only real none assurance of a fun time I can give you is the weather forecast. Boracay isn't as fun with the rain, otherwise, it's a guaranteed good holiday.
Why are my posts always towards the end of the page. :frown:
Quoting for garry.
I went to Lignano and the Friuli region in Italy for two weeks, came back last weekend. Shit was so cash. It was around 25-30'ish degrees celcius which is just right for me, not a tourist in sight and just plain relaxing.
Considering it's in pretty much the northernmost part of Italy, it might get colder and the weather might become a tad worse around these days. I was just lucky to chill in that town right after the tourist season ended. I think I heard a few times that the population of Lignano varies from about 5,000 in the winter to around 200,000 in the summer.

You could always sleep in a shed nearby if you want.
New Orleans is amazing, especially if you like the Jazz culture
If you want to see some culture, come to Baden-Baden, Germany.
[editline]01:30PM[/editline]
But you probably don't.
If you want to go somewhere rather diffirent then I'd recommend:
Kish Island

It's a small island in the Persian gulf, south of Iran. The island belongs to Iran but do not worry about the bad happenings going on there since the island is focused on tourism they try to keep the political stuff out of there. It's also much more liberated compared to Iran itself so that it is attractive.
When I was in Iran a few years back, me and my family got the chance to fly over to Kish. We were there for a mere two days but it was fantastic. It's your typical hollyday island. The beaches, resturants, gigantic hotels and the huge malls. When I was there we went to some big animal park with all kinds of animals and whatnot. Also these boatrides so that you can view the oceanm scuba diving too.(Shitload of them) Everything is there.
There is no tax there either so it's quite cheap aswell if buying useless things is your thing.

There is quite a lot of historic things too, but if you'd be into that, Iran itself would have probably been better I think.

The Dariush Grand Hotel, named after one of the great Persian kings.
Now as you may have noticed, it is in the middle east and when you think of that, you think if terrorists and other bad things. Don't worry about that though. It's quite far away from the UK where you live. I'm pretty certain there are some direct flights so that you don't have to go through Iran itself.
Anyway, check it out. It's quite fancy.
Also, as for the temprature, I'm not sure. It's pretty much the same as Iran which is pretty hot.
[editline]02:12PM[/editline]
Hm.. now why did I spend so much time typing all of that.
Garry, go on a Royal Caribbean cruise. I went on one 2 (I think) years ago now, and it's the best holiday i've ever had. I know you don't want dress codes and stuff, but it's only one resturant for 2 nights of the week that has a dress code, so if you don't want to go in your tux (which i reccomend doing, it was actually pretty sweet) you can go off to one of the dozens (literally) of other resturants.
Liberty of the Seas = Best boat i've ever been on (And i've been on a few.)
Also, the staff onboard will bend over backwards to make sure you have the time of your life, they'll try and get money off you, but only if you want them to. They understand that no means no and won't pester you.
Oh, and don't worry about being seasick, if you dont look outside (which i highly reccomend doing) then you wouldn't know you were on a ship.
I actually would not mind going to North Korea what so ever.
This is true. Mexico is in a shitty state right now. Tourists and such are constantly being kidnapped and held ransom down there.
