florida is perfect this time of year and cruises to the bahamas are dirt cheap, just look on orbitz, you can get a good 7 night stay for like 700bucks+cruise

don't go to mexico. don't go to jamaica. go on a celebrity cruise. (same company as royal caribbean but higher end) thats what I did last year and it was nice

If you go to Florida, go to Miami if you like crowded beaches and night clubs, or an awesome Zoo, or go to The Keys for really great less crowded beaches, and awesome snorkeling. Also, for The Keys, I recommend going to [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bahia_Honda_Key]Bahia Honda[/url], I went there around 5 years ago, and the beaches were really nice, they had a huge sand bar where you could literally walk out a mile with the water barely up to your knees.

If you go to Cancun try to find a small island or something. The city is horrible.

I've heard that the Caribbean is always really nice, as are the resorts along the Yucatan. If you weren't looking for beaches, I'd recommend somewhere in the western US. You could go camping/hiking in the mountains of Arizona, go to the Redwood forests, or any one of the national parks. However, if you go to the US, just remember that almost everything west of Texas and south of Virginia is complete ass. Currently it's spring in New Zealand, school exams are on next month, people are still working. New Zealand fits some of that criteria. It's hot and sunny in the afternoons, 25C - 30C, but be prepared for some rain. You could visit some nice wineries down at Hawkes Bay.
