It's people like you who ruin airsoft for beginners.
yeah, FP really is a place where you have to watch out who's toes you're stepping on, at least in your first couple of months. Once everyone gets to know you you don't have to worry as much.

im gonna weigh my left testicle and post it in grams
Pffft. :v:
Please, listen to me, I made dumb posts and thread like this all the time before i lurked and found out what to post and what not to post. Not trying to sound mean here but the best thing to do as of right now is just stop arguing and let the thread die.
This may not be Call Of Duty but it's still a game.
mature people who dont like inmature kids.
Honestly, to me it sounds like you're the one being immature. You're getting really upset about a really minor and insignificant thing. If you were at a MilSim place I'd understand, but CQB City is a very large place and caters to all types.
STOP ARGUING AND LET THE THREAD DIE.
Guys, every once in a while Tankman is right. This is one of those times.
But it's soooo COOOl
The only problem I have with kids is when they decide to pull their information about guns from games like MW2, MW3, etc. Yes, it can introduce you to new weapons, but at the same time, it's not going to give you the most accurate information about them. Another problem I just thought of deals with teamwork. Not a lot of little kids really utilize it, not to mention, half the time, they're scared to do anything, because the fear of getting shot freaks them out. Understandable, but they should have thought of that going into the game. I'm going to get annoyed at the fields I play at, because I now play with a Masada. Normally, it wouldn't be a problem, but the gun's popularity has been renewed due to MW3, meaning that I'm going to be bombarded with questions like "OMFG, IS THAT ACR?!". No. It's not. It's a Masada. Two different weapons. They may appear the same, but honestly, they're not. The other thing, is that some kid is going to try to lecture me about my weapon. I hate that so fucking much. Kids are hit and miss really. Some kids are awesome at the hobby, others just need to go home. But, it's up to us to show them the ropes. We're the role models, and as such, we should act accordingly, no matter how frustrating or annoying it may get.
^ One of the biggest bros on this forum.
Kids don't annoy me by being inexperienced or overenthusiastic- everyone's like that at some point. What bugs me is when kids can't follow even the simplest directions and consequently can't work as a team. Just this weekend, Timebomb and I were holed up in a small building with overwatch on about eight of the other team so they couldn't be medic'd by their teammates. Kid on our team comes into the building, Timebomb tells him to watch the door I was covering. I point out to the kid where the enemies are, tell him that guys keep running over to revive, and that if he just waits there and covers for us he'll get some easy kills. I go to help Timebomb on the other side of the building, and when I come back not thirty seconds later, the kid is gone. Just up and left. It's okay to be bad, but you should at least show some respect for people who better know what they're doing. I know that sounds horrifically elitist, but it's really true. I started paintball when I was 14, and I learned by following the lead of more experienced players and doing what I was told.
Yeah, i have a hard time with some kids, i'll tell them to stay somewhere, and cover an area, and that'll be back, because maybe i have to take something out that i KNOW i can take out, and that these kids will just slow me down, and i'll head off and a minute later i'll hear them following me, and i either get my cover blown because of them, or i have to tell them that i give orders for a reason. So before i start any game with newbs i have a short, reusable speech that goes over all potential problems.
I sure love when I hold a finger up to my mouth area to tell kids to be quiet they're all like OK LET'S BE A FUCKING MARIACHI AND SHAKE MY TWENTY HICAPS

NO ONE IS SHOOTING ...... ....... (kid goes the other direction) ........ FFS
Oh, well, we did lose most of the rounds because our entire team wanted to dick around instead of advancing. We had a king of the hill round where Timebomb and I ran up and took out about a third of the entire other team as they stacked up on the wall of the objective building. Did our team capitalize on it? Nah. They were all hanging back. In an earlier round, we got boxed in at our spawn because they wanted to clump up and not move. The moderators kept trying to make it easier and easier for us, even going so far as to give us both unlimited medic respawns and a respawn point, and yet our team was still too timid to actually try.
Yeah, sometimes at ACQB i feel like i'm carrying 90% of the team weight, unless we have some skilled players. I'm always the one pushing up, flanking around, eliminating the whole team, stealing the flags, bringing them back, all p. much singlehandedly. I mean, this doesn't apply when i roll with an actual team of sorts, i tend to gravitate towards the more organized people, while instructing them newbs on what to do, how to fix their gun, what guns to buy, what websites are the best, etc.
I remember at my first game our snipers were hanging back. One of the mods got fed up and shouted, "SNIPERS, YOU AREN'T HELPING YOUR TEAM IN THE SLIGHTEST. MOVE UP."

It was a simple recreational game held at a paintball field by a local airsoft team. It was on that day where I found out that if you're going to a rec game and you're wearing green, you're going to lose each time.
This Isn't Call of Duty - Retarded Kids Edition
I was halfway through a post about how this should be an official thread about dumb kids when i remembered the airsoft idiots thread.
