I remember seeing this video from what seemed like some sort of "masterchef china" thing where they took live fish, stripped them of their scales and tossed them into boiling oil or whatever it was alive. They were still breathing when they were being served.

There is nothing cultural about what's abuse and what's not. Same way murder isn't.
I can't be certain about this but it looks like the frog was alive, trying to crawl away, after being gutted and cut in half. It doesn't matter for me what animal that is, or where and who's done it. It's animal cruelty.
And no, you don't gut pigs and cows alive, what planet do you live on? Unless it's a case of animal cruelty.

And animals are eaten alive in the wild because animals aren't humane. It doesn't make eating animals alive by people any better because there are animals that do it. What kind of logic is that? Yeah animals do some heartless stuff, it doesn't make it right when we do it.
