I prefer the water drop maneuver. Flicking your cheek lightly while opening your mouth quickly achieves a similar sound to a beautiful drop of water falling into a bucket of other such liquid.

I've been taught a way to make a clear water dropping sound.

Having to flick your cheek or under your jaw, just above your throat in the right place while expanding your mouth like a fish and sort of breathing out but just enough for a small air flow, it's tricky.

Sounds like water dropping though. I find having wet lips helps. I can do it best after a drink of water.

You could just make an o shape with your mouth and then make your hand flat and gently hit your mouth. If you did this right it should pop. With me the middle finger's last joint connects with my upper lip. It's hilarious how loud you can do this.
