Walking Dead V.3 - "Carl get back in the house!" Edition

[sp]So I'm guessing we won't see the actual war until season 4?[/sp]
Every Sunday for this season of the walking dead and top gear, my two brothers would drive over to my dad's and we'd all watch. Usually my dad's girlfriend and her 14-year-old daughter join us too. That sex scene dragged on way too long. Everyone mysteriously had to send a text message or check something on their smartphone.
[sp]I don't feel like they got a lot accomplished in that episode. Rick and the governor didn't really get anything done with that meeting, Merle got annoyed, Maggie and Glen got their shit together and Daryl made a friend, sorta.[/sp]
Also, god dammit.

Norman Reedus was going to visit my college, I just got some money over the weekend and was planning on buying tickets...
10 dollar tickets for what
to see norman reedus visit a college
I liked the episode. It had a very tense atmosphere and it was cool to see the two groups interacting with each other.
[sp]Daryl is totally gay for that Woodbury dude. Seriously that was one of the most homo erotic things I have ever seen.[/sp]
Season 3 spoilers. [sp] They'll drag the actual fight into Season 4. And it fucking SUCKS. I love WD a LOT, but goddamn it they are freakin' slowpoking it. They should've ended the prison part in Season 3. No point in dragging it all the way to Season 4, I mean it'll take them 4 Seasons to tell what comics told in like 6 - 7 volumes. They should've struck a balance of pacing, not too slow, but not as fast as comics, kind of in between. [/sp]
[sp] Why is everyone saying that its going to drag into season 4? Its very obvious they're getting it set up to happen in the finale. With only three episodes left, and Rick and Woodbury preparing for battle, its pretty obvious its coming soon. Plus, in the next episode they are going back to meet at the barn where either Rick or the Governor will try and blindside the other one, probably sparking an actual war. Was something leaked saying otherwise? [/sp]
I'd feel cheated out of a great finale, to be honest.
I kind of want a different setting each season. Like, the first one was Atlanta, the second one was the farm and the third one could realistically just be the prison until the finale. They're close enough to the war from the source material that it would probably be the first episode of the fourth season if they don't do it this season anyway.
Shit like the war on the prison is what you END a season with. If the attack goes down like it does in the comics, [sp] the prison will be taken over, several characters will die and everyone will be in separate places. That's not a good way to begin a season, really. The only reason they would have a cliffhanger to piss everyone off. That would be a pretty bad move in my opinion.[/sp]
Comic spoilers [sp] It would be a GREAT way to end a season. Everyone being split up from eachother, maybe some people going to Herschels farm (even though im pretty sure its overrun), it would be a great set up for the next season, which if it sticks to the source material, should be the trip to Washington, which would make season 4 a traveling the road story, which wouldn't be bad to start off with everyone split up. [/sp]

Our city isn't terribly exciting.

Because Glenn Mazzara said he wanted [sp] woodbury and the prison to last through season 4. [/sp]
They did a finale reshooting so it might have changed but I don't think we'll see the last of the prison/woodbury at the end of season 3.
Also they said something along the lines of "there won't be acliffhanger for the finale"
but "the mouths of millions of people will be open when the screen goes black"
So it sounds like a cliffhanger to me, or an amazing conclusion.
[sp]The first place they went in the comics after andrea and dale left with glenn and maggie was Hershel's farm, that's where they regrouped after the Prison was taken from them[/sp]
thanks random sex scene i was watching the episode on the train and the dude next to me kinda just stared along and when that happened i just stared at him like
uhhhh i promise it's not like this man
Comic spoilers [sp]I thought it was to foreshadow the fact that Maggie ends up pregnant? Seemed like the only reasonable point to that scene. Could be me looking too deep into it, though.[/sp]
If I was stuck in a world where 99% of the people are dead, which includes everyone I know. There's no television or internet or just about any other fun things like hiking or biking or being able to drive for pleasure. And there's no porn. If I have a smoking hot girlfriend like Lauren Cohan I'm gonna fuck her brains out.

That reminds me, what do the people who stay in the jail like Carol do all day? They've been there a long time doing fuck all every day, I'd crack and go insane.

maybe they have a pack of cards or something
maybe they have a pack of cards or something
They read books from the prison library, cut people's hair, played basketball in the gym, they mentioned using the generator to watch a DVD once, not sure if they ended up doing it or not.
That sex scene. Suddenly, random texts need to be sent and things need to be checked.
re-watching Season 1, kinda funny how it only had 6 episodes.
It's cause the first season was meant to be a sort of test. They only ordered 6 episodes cause they did not know if the show would be accepted with the audience at all. But well, after the first couple episodes, the popularity exploded, thus season 2 had like 13 episodes was it? And 3 has 16.
I hate TV show's retarded episode systems now. What happened to plain 10 or 20 episodes for each season. Not all this, 13 or 16 or 7 or 9 or other cryptic numbers. Makes for more content too and less "wait 5 months for the second half of this 8 episode season" stuff.

10 isn't enough, 20 is too much in some cases.
Like Teen Wolf is going to be 24 episodes for season 3.
That may be too much.
Heres the 3 trailers for next episode:

There wasn't a lot of hour long primetime episodic stuff back then, it was much easier to produce in bulk.
I loved Stargate, especially SG1. Over the course of Christmas break I watched the entire series again. 10 seasons of 20 episodes each over two weeks, fuck yeah man.
Wow the most recent episode:
[sp]I'm glad Rick called for war other than trading michone. Cause the govna is a dillweed with no integrity.[/sp]
Tyreese is left-handed?

The prison/woodbury arc is too good to condense into one season.
Tyreese is left-handed?
I liked that too
I feel like Tyreese could be the replacement for [sp]Abraham, the same way comic Tyreese was replaced by Shane not dying instead of introducing him at the start of season 2 (While he's not like Abraham at all he could become Rick's new second in command[/sp]
The prison/woodbury arc is too good to condense into one season.
Pretty sure the writers implied the [sp]prison assault[/sp] would be happening this finale.

Well considering both the woodbury and prison sets are being used for season 4 I think they're gonna be there a while longer
Promospoiler [sp]How nice that Andrea tells Tyreese and his group to not trust the governor[/sp]
Well considering both the woodbury and prison sets are being used for season 4 I think they're gonna be there a while longer
[sp]just because the assault happens doesn't mean they have to completely abandon both places[/sp]
comic spoilers,
[sp] I think that unlike the comic that forced them all to leave because they lost, the prisons going to win and continue the prison into season 4, with woodbury out of the picture (apart from a few scenes where they loot the place?) and something else will occur early season 4 that will force them to move out [/sp]
