Walking Dead V.3 - "Carl get back in the house!" Edition

I'm thinking the sets will be used for (comic spoilers)[sp]the aftermath. One by one main characters will be killed off, ending with Judith. The instant Rick and Carl realize she's dead it will cut to black. Season 4 will open with the rest of their escape. Season 4 may also open with a sad musical montage/overview of what's left of the prison and Woodbury. The prison being overrun with Zombies, and Woodbury left without a leader.[/sp]
Also calling it now, [sp]Daryl will be among the dead in the assault.[/sp]

I'm not sure they'd do anything as risky as killing off a massive fan favorite such as Daryl, Merle maybe, but killing off most peoples favorite character would create a pretty nasty backlash.

Merle is more likely to die than Daryl is as well.
Also Daryl said that the producers were going to [sp] make him wait for his new crossbow till season 4, so that confirms that hes staying alive atleast till then. [/sp]

He just [sp]got a new crossbow.[/sp]

Not killing off a main character just because people like him defeats the entire purpose of the series.
In the comics: [sp]Patricia, Otis, Hershel's son, Lori, her baby, and fan favorites Axel and Hershel all died during the prison assault. All in one issue. Not to mention another fan favorite, Tyreese, died right before that. I could be missing characters, haven't read them in a while.[/sp]
Protecting a character for the fans goes against Kirkman completely.
I'm entirely positive [sp]Daryl will die. Not sure about Merle, personally I think it'd be interesting to have him stick around.[/sp]

Wait a minute, I got it. [sp]Merle and Michonne want to do a direct attack. They'll both go together, and everyone who stays behind in the prison(besides Rick and Carl) will die. I think Glenn and Maggie will get away somehow, leave like they did in the comics. Hershel, Daryl, Judith, Carol, and Beth are going to die in the prison.[/sp]
I also have the feeling [sp]Tyreese will join up with Rick after the finale.[/sp]
I'm calling all of this right now.
[sp]I don't think Daryl will die, maybe some emotional shit ending with Merle dying. I wonder how the baby will die though. I'd rather say some people from Tyreese's group, Milton, Governor, Beth/Carol.[/sp]
I will bet money on [sp]Daryl dying.[/sp]

I'm down for this bet [sp] I doubt Daryl will die this season [/sp]
To be honest I would rather have [sp]Daryl die than Merle die.[/sp]
Also, likely spoilers for a future episode. Having to do with a certain actor being present in a certain episode on imdb. (not a massive plot synopsis or anything, but still click at your own risk)

[sp]Maybe Rick will head back to Kings County after the prison assault? Or Morgan will come to the rescue? Either way I'm glad that Morgan will have another appearance soon. I was kind of disappointed that they brought him back this early, but didn't have him join the group. It would have been better if they waited until later in the story like in the comics to go find him and have him join the group. We'll have to wait and see.[/sp]

Let's do it man. How much do you want to bet?
[sp]I think Beth is going to die. She's just there, sorta like T-Dog[/sp]

For fucks sake. No offence but when we people stop thinking IMDB is a reliable source. Anybody can edit that. It's rarely ever right.
re-watching Season 1, kinda funny how it only had 6 episodes.
episode 1 is my favourite episode still.

and probably (comic/series SPOILERS)[sp]we will see this rick vs tyresse tension after that episode, unlike the comics, where he dies in the attack and the power fights are done at the jail[/sp]
I'm thinking [sp]Merle will sacrifice himself for Daryl, that brotherly love[/sp]
I want Judith to die, so there's nothing left of Shane or Lori besides Rick's hallucinations, and because these stupid sad violin glissando moments with feeding it are a feeble attempt to make it look precious or valuable.
I'm thinking [sp]Merle will sacrifice himself for Daryl, that brotherly love[/sp]
I'm hoping that [sp]Merle gets captured after going to kill the Governor with Michonne and then gets executed outside the prison while Daryl watches like Tyrese did[/sp] in the comics.
I'm just thinking [sp] Hershel is more likely to die[/sp]
[sp]Hershel[/sp] definitely won't die this episode. Because (comic spoilers) [sp]someone with one leg has to get their other leg eaten by the hunters. And I don't see Dale around.[/sp]
I'm just thinking [sp] Hershel is more likely to die[/sp]
I would be inclined to think that too, but (comic related) [sp]Dale was the one who got his leg chopped off in the comics, but his actor left the show in Season 2 as we know. Hershel kind of took over Dale's character at this point so it's hard to say whether he'll die now or they'll keep him alive.[/sp]
It's also possible that [sp]Andrea might die this season because Maggie seems to be more of the bad-ass female character that Andrea was in the comics. Her role could be split between Maggie and Carol. Carol appears to be somewhat capable of shooting a gun in the show and she isn't going insane and trying to kill herself while seducing Rick and his own wife at the same time.[/sp]
Let's do it man. How much do you want to bet?
Hmm what do you have in mind?
It would be scary if !COMIC! [sp]Morgan's hiding place was found by the gov, and he was presented out front of the gate like Tyreese in the comic and beheaded in the season finale[/sp]
Let's do it man. How much do you want to bet?
Killing off a fan favorite would not go down well unless they gave him the most awesome death ever. I don't even like Daryl that much and I don't want him to die.

Oh shit... [sp] He gets Michonne finally, and puts her and Morgan in front of the prison, beheads Morgan, and Michonne makes a run for it (successfully), queue entire comic scene of that fight [/sp]

I don't think Kirkman is so simple as to think that he can kill off anyone as long as there is someone to fit in their role.

Like I said, protecting characters for that reason would go against everything Kirkman does in the comics.
Like I said, protecting characters for that reason would go against everything Kirkman does in the comics.
Well, you don't really have to consider actors and stuff in the comics. It's a slightly different situation there.
Well, you don't really have to consider actors and stuff in the comics. It's a slightly different situation there.
Yeah, but so far they don't seem to have an issue with killing off main characters.
Yeah, but so far they don't seem to have an issue with killing off main characters.
They haven't really overdone it though

-snip for wrong-
I really hope that the prison won't be extended too far into Season 4, especially since the mid-season finale for it might be (comic) [sp]Glenn's death. If they recreate it accurately and just have the camera slowly panning away from the scene with Glenn's corpse on the ground after Negan bashed his head in, then it would be one of the best moments of the series imo. No dramatic music, just Maggie's quiet sobbing and the soft rumble of Negan's men rolling away from the scene in their jeeps.[/sp]
[editline]12th March 2013[/editline]
Well, then again that might actually be the mid-season finale for season 5 or 6. Depends on how long they'll drag things out.
Goddamnit, I hate it when the "Previously on TWD" intro spoils what's going to happen. I'm watching S3E12 and it was pretty easy to predict that [sp]the armored dude was Morgan[/sp] because the intro showed [sp]Rick trying to contact him back in Season 2[/sp]
