What's up with Magpul replicas? http://www.airsoftretreat.com/classifieds/showproduct.php/product/6282/cat/4 I can't really afford a genuine Magpul ACS stock, but for $50 I might want that replica if it's roughly the same quality. I feel bad not supporting an American company, and instead giving it to some obscure ripoff factory in China, but can't really help it. Money is tight, seeing as I pay for everything myself and don't have much of a job.

But from some of those pictures (specifically the ASAP plate and MBUS) they sure look like crap. The MBUS isn't even the right shape, while the ASAP plate looks like it was horribly poured pot metal. I'd really doubt how much abuse some of these parts would take.
Magpul or nothing. After my adventure with the 10$ star P-mag I know that the mag-pull ones not only look better, work better they also fit in the gun with out a very large wobble.
But PMAG's don't fit all guns. Tossed my friend a spare PMAG I had, only to find out it doesn't fit his KWA M4.
He is right, the STAR P-Mags are horrible. My brother has a few and they feed like shit or just stop feeding altogether. Going to a 24 OP on Saturday! I hope to get some pictures for you bastards.
God dammit, I'm rather tight on money right now and I want to get an internal upgrade to my gun. So my question is this: should I get a new, longer inner barrel, or a new hop up unit, or new hop up bucking? I want to increase range mostly, but range and accuracy couldn't hurt. Also, should I be worried about too much FPS gain with a long tightbore? Because my gun is borderline fps limit.
New hop up bucking (Firefly or Prometheus) and a new hop up nub (SCS is only I know of). It'll cost anywhere from $15-$25, too lazy to look up how much exactly. I think it increases your accuracy more than a nice inner barrel, depending on the crappyness of your current bucking/nub. Regardless, it's a lot cheaper. You should make this it a habit of replacing the bucking and nub on new guns in the future, and if possible the inner barrel.
YAY. I am going to work at a coffee shop this summer. 20 hrs a week and 665$ a month. so I am going to make almost 2000$ this summer.
buy me a KA M79, ok
$665 a month? I make that in like two weeks just to keep up with my addiction.
$665 a month? I make that in like two weeks just to keep up with my addiction.
I am only of the age of 14. It's the best I can get. It's that or work for the school that pays ~400$ a month for more work.
Whats minimum wage where you are? It's $9.00 CAD here.
Minimum is about 7$/hr no idea really.
minimum is about 7$/hr no idea really.
$7.25.
Ouch thats kinda low. I think were going up to $10.50 or something ridiculous like that.
Yessssss Finally got the OE Tech Interceptor Vest I've always wanted and a new charging handle for my CA M15A4.
I also got that Fake Bayonet to push my receipt over a $100 and get free shipping so I'll make a review of that for shits and giggles. FUCKING excited. [editline]11:25PM[/editline] Double Post.
Wrong thread.

Oh no, sorry. I had accidentally posted something relating to SS13 in this thread. Wasn't saying you were in the wrong thread.
Ah, never mind then. I revoke my previous statement. Carry on.
Off to the mall again tomorrow - yet to pack and I have to be awake in 7 hours. :3 Will try to take some footage this time - Only have a little MD80 minidv cam, it's not the chinese clone so the quality is pretty good for something so small and cheap, but I'm just trying to find a decent way to mount it. Reversing my baseball cap and clipping it onto the adjustment strap is quite good if I can get it positioned right. The lense isn't wide enough so it has to be spot on to get a decent image.
Doofus is buying a JG tactical AK even though he has a brand new, fully working, CA X-series M4
So, how did everyone here get into airsoft? How was your first real game?
