When they sent me freebies, it was a shirt, and on a different occasion, several posters.

All I did was demand a smiley face on the FPS testing sheet, and I got posters as well.
wait, to know it was legit? or why?

I was bored when I ordered.
Finally get to go out to my first milsim this weekend, being hosted by the guy that runs [url]http://www.plasticsoldierairsoft.ca/[/url]. (got to meet him today, real nice guy, gave me a 10% discount off all his shit because I'm a member of JOC)
Fucking excited, it's on a private farmland, with a junkyard of approximately 300 cars, lots of barns and other small buildings, plus the guy just secured an abandoned house for us to use up the road a bit. Event is lasting for around 12 hours, hopefully staying for the entire thing.

How I wish I lived in Calgary right now.
Yeah really, I was allowed a +1, and invited one of my friends (he's a member on here), was going to pay for his gun rental today, but he bailed out.
Shit, if you were here in Calgary Taep, I'd take you along.

What's the field called? It sounds familiar.
So you need to have purchased something already?

It would be too short notice anyway, I'd have to get midcaps for my AUG. All I have for it are two high caps.
[QUOTE=Stupideye;25121959]What's the field called? It sounds familiar.[/QUOTE]
It's not a field, JOC just secures this guy's farm for a day, therefore we all need to use Eco BB's, so the cows don't poop plastic.
Although I think the field you might be thinking of is Warpaint, they've got a junkyard of busses and old cars iirc.

Nah, the ammo limits are just for rifles is 600 bb's max on person at a time. Can be one highcap, bunch of mids, etc.
Trying to fix my AEG, so far I got it back together and now it just won't fire, no gearbox noise, nothing.
Did you check the wiring? Anything loose or appear to be shorted out?
Trigger connection wasn't making a complete circuit. I just fired a few shots and I think I completely fixed the Semi, battery died though so now I have to wait for it to charge before I can test further.
Put the old spring into it, may put the old one after a some test firing. Depends on what I feel is more appropriate for the game this Saturday.
[editline]03:58PM[/editline]
Yup, it's fixed. It still misfeds and fire's two shots/jams though, it may be the tightbore or the bucking, or both, I'll replace the new barrel with the stock one and see how that goes.
Good luck on that one. I hate fixing hop up chambers. More than struggling with a loose anti reversal latch.
Is there anyone laid hands on the new CYMA AKS-74U? It's said to be 'full steel'. I'm thinking about buying one.
Pretty sure it's the hopup bucking.
See, that's why I like what G.I. did with their customs. That forward assist pops the anti-reversal latch, and decompresses the spring.
So, regardless what barrel I use it still misfeds. For example, firing on Semi I'll get three our four good shots before it misfeds and fires two at once. I think it's the hop-up bucking but I don't know if it's something else and if it is the hop up bucking that I can get a new one by Saturday.
[editline]04:20PM[/editline]
I'll lube up the magazines, clean the barrel. Noticed it wasn't as bad with my hicaps, maybe it's just the mags. We'll see. Trial and error here I come. But as it is I can use it for a game.
This is a stupid question. Did you turn the hop up dial to the most loose setting ?
Yeah, regardless hop up position it'll double-feed, with it on it's more often then not.
[editline]04:28PM[/editline]
I think it's a combination of the mags needing lube/being old and the hop up bucking because it happened far less on an oiled hi-cap.
[editline]04:32PM[/editline]
Working fine now, random double feed here and there, I guess everything needs to be lubed.
My rifle is good to go then. It's fixed and it has a really nice range now due to the tightbore. I'll save the upgraded spring for when this one wears out, I think it'll be fine for what I need it for.
It's official, I'll be chairsofting for at least the next two years. I asked one of my friends if we're ever going to play airsoft again and he said probably not.

You don't know that though. Chances are you'll play again within that timeframe.
Tae, sign up with JOC, you get discounts at the surplus stores and at plastic soldier airsoft (%10), and you'll find a lot of minisim events are being hosted like, every month. There's already two confirmed for october, and Op World Ender (Post-apocalypse/STALKER theme 24h milsim) just happened last month, along with a lot of other ones.

Ive got it. The think is a tank. It weights a good 8 pounds (3.6 kg). You could probably use it as a baseball bat, if you really wanted to. Its got amazing range and accuracy considering how small it is.

Calgary is too far away for me without my license. I'm probably going there for university though.
So, uh, how do you properly wash a shemagh? Mine shrunk.
Mine felt really weird after I washed it, as well as shrinking a bit, so I just wouldn't wash it again if I were you. To remove the smell (110 degree weather turns a shemagh into a sweat rag) I just lay it completely unfolded on my bed, open the window, and turn on the fan.
[editline]05:37PM[/editline]
Otherwise, you could hand wash it.
Yeah, I'm not chucking this thing in the wash anymore. Drying it might be problematic though, I can't leave it on a bed with a fan nearby (top bunk) and there's not many places to let it out to dry.
