[QUOTE=Identity;25519158]Wait, what was the model before the ACR? And she's Swedish if that helps.

Magpul Masada?
[QUOTE=Fenriswolf;25519195]Magpul Masada?[/QUOTE]
The ACR is the Masada. Bushmaster and Remington call it the ACR.
[editline]19th October 2010[/editline]
Maybe it's the Magpul Massoud?
I was thinking Massoud, but that's a 7.62, I think. I believe it's a SIG pattern rifle of some sort,
[editline]19th October 2010[/editline]
Oh damn. And I'm pretty sure the Massoud is 7.62, and those are 5.56 mags.

Well I know they are the same but if I'm not mistaken, when Bushmaster took it over they modified it a bit. I am not sure.

They modified it due to a flaw in design.
[editline]19th October 2010[/editline]
On October 15, 2010 Bushmaster issued a recall of all ACR rifles instructing users to "Please immediately discontinue the use of your ACR rifle" along with instructions to contact customer support for an RMA. Bushmaster stated that the recall was issued due to "a possible firearms performance issue that may develop with a small number of ACR rifles" and goes on to state that "Bushmaster discovered a design flaw which could result in multiple rounds firing continuously when the trigger is pulled". Bushmaster has stated that it will cover all of the costs associated with the repairs to the recalled rifles.
Oh okay, so it's not really a new version of the gun, just a fixed component.

Sounds fun. Switch it to semi auto and end up firing full auto. That sure sounds like some of my past AEG's lol.
Ender, where have you been man? Seems like you haven't posted nearly as frequently as you used to.

What gun is that?
And focus on the gun first, drool later...[/QUOTE]
BRB joining Swedish Army.

I don't post because there is normally no reason to post. It's mostly about "AW RUSSIAN GUN AND GEAR IS THE BEST!" or Stalker this and that, and honestly I don't have much input in those subjects.
That plus I don't get out of class til 6pm and I normally have other things to do.

You'll be the next "guy behind a hot chick with a gun in his underpants" then.

Maybe you should work for Bushmaster. Lol.
I wonder how many people ended up sending their weapons back though. I mean most people want a fully automatic weapon, even though it is illegal.
With the way the ATF is in the US, I don't know that it woudl be worth it, no matter how much fun FA is, the amount of trouble probably wouldn't be worth it.
Looks like a weirdly colored AK-5, as The Slick said. Something isn't right though where the receiver meets the handguard.
Aw russian gun and gear is the best!
STALKER said so!
Matter of opinion.
A guy that my dad knows gave us a gun to look at, he said it's old as hell. It's a G36 made by VB who I have never heard of. Nor can i seem to find reviews on em.

Would i be correct in saying that looks exactly like one of those cheaply made plastic springers?

Yes, it looks like a DE M85

It's the newest version of the AK5, the AK5C.

If someone made that gun in airsoft I would buy it, even if it is a little tacticool.
[QUOTE=Stupideye;25533047]Looks crappy.

It, doesn't look to scale.
Also, didn't know they made a newer AK-5. I like the older one better, but still looks kinda neat.
It's not DE, made by a company called VB
Guy who gave it to me said he got it 7-10 years ago.
Gun also feels pretty solid.
Probably is cheap anyways, might just upgrade it a bit and lend it to friends who come airsofting with me.
