If you hit them in the eye. I'd go more with a 500 FPS sniper rifle, but even then it doesn't sound too humane (not that killing is humane anyway). It'd probably suffer a good deal before dying.
Well I know for a fact you can kill small birds with a good AEG with ease. Somehow my friend accidentally shot down a humming bird as it flew into the line of fire. It was still sort of twitching when we found it so I went ahead and put it down. Felt bad. But shoot if I'm going to kill a small animal I won't use my airsoft guns, I got compound bows that are more than good enough to kill them and from a good distance away. More likely to put them down on the first shot.
http://www.tacticaltrunkmonkey.com/ goddamnit I knew if I spent some money on those 50 round mags for my pistol a really good deal would show up.

$200?!?!?!? Canadian prices :saddowns:
I'm excited, loadout nearly complete minus knee pads. I got a thigh rig (Ammo dump, two magazine pouches and a utility pouch) to fill out my legs better and take some bulk off the vest. Got a EMS pouch for large stuff on my vest, like gloves and batteries and a small utility bag for wallets, phones, etc. [editline]04:44PM[/editline] Also a new pair of pants (Mine were getting a bit small) and some Altama Desert Boots.
Upload some pictures when its all done m'kay?
Uploading now, check the loadout thread in a few minutes.
Dayum son that is a good looking loadout.
I got killed by a 'helicopter' at an OP yesterday. The helicopters were people with 'helicopter' on their shirt, and 5 people could be on the helicopter by being in physical contact. They couldn't fire while on the helicopter, but the helicopter could drop nerf football bombs. The helicopter was walking around with one passenger near their lines, where I was. They went up to one person that just had a shotgun and said "Naah, he has a shotgun they wouldn't bomb him." and then they go "Let's see what this guy has. Oooh, an AK 74. Yeaaah, let's bomb him" Drats

That just sounds ridiculous. [editline]04:21PM[/editline] How would you even implement that in a skirmish?!?!?!
It let people drop a squad behind enemy lines, which became very dangerous. Plus, it was a prototype idea, they wanted to see how well it would work.
Sounds interesting but I don't see the idea taking off.
Best thing ever is to have two major teams then a 3rd party team in between (civilians). Makes the game intresting
Oh yeah, I forgot. Each team has a helicopter, and rocket launchers. Only the RPG can kill the helicopter. I don't know the exact rules on how the helicopters worked, as they were the only ones privy to that exact information. Escorting a VIP is a fun scenario to play.
So is having the civilian team with their own weapons (restrictive)(like a suitcase gun or handguns maybe a shotgun) and they can choose to side in a conflict if present.
I still want to have a bank robbery OP.
Sounds interesting but I don't see the idea taking off.
No pun intended? :banjo:
No pun intended? :banjo:
I see that idea crashing and burning. Straight into the ground.
So is having the civilian team with their own weapons (restrictive)(like a suitcase gun or handguns maybe a shotgun) and they can choose to side in a conflict if present.
Pretty much. The civilians are allowed any weapons and can choose sides. They ended up siding with us after Tan team backstabbed them. They needed the suit cases in the game and we needed them to. So once we got them all we handed them off to the civilians. After that we needed the mobile spawns so they assisted.

TM MP7 + Biodegradable Tracers + New ACOG + On the beach at night = Epic Me and my dad went down to the beach last night with the TM MP7 and tracer unit on it along with my PEQ15 and the new ACOG. First I checked out this small beach to make sure it was all clear and no one was there, tac lights came in handy for this. After I was satisfied I pulled out the MP7 from a backpack and started to assemble it and load the mags. Holy shit tracers are fun to use on the beach. I aimed at a giant rock about 150 feet out in the water and let loose on full auto. You could just see the bbs ricochet every which way. I had my dad fire the MP7 past me, man that's intimidating. You get a muzzle flash, plus these bright green laser looking bbs flying past you. The laser on the MP7 made it even more intimidating. Then I went to shoot at the water about 20 feet away. This simply amazed me. The tracer rounds were skipping off the surface of the water, never would have guessed that. I then fired straight down into the water. You could see these bbs emitting a green glow around them as they slowly sunk down and moved with the current. Then we checked out this man made water run off cave. Fired a few more rounds down there and watched the chaos of the ricocheting bbs. After that we started seeing some figures on the cliff edges. I sighted in with the ACOG while my dad stood away and lit it up with a tac light. Turned out to be a bush. We would have sworn we saw someone with a flash light up on one of the cliffs. Walking around a bit more and I see this sort of hunched over figure at the top of the cliff where we came in. Through the ACOG it looked damned freaky. Then we heard this sort of chirping noise from the right. Being on the beach at night can be damn creepy, though just having an airsoft gun in your hands makes you feel a little better. After hanging around for about an hour we packed it up and left. Nearly walked into pipe with my head on the way up. After seeing how fun a MP7 with tracers can be, we're thinking about buying another one with a tracer unit for CQB. Due to their low FPS, we can use them inside buildings, which makes it all the more intimidating. The new ACOG worked very nicely despite the darkness. The scope itself could still be used to see with what little light there was out there, the optics were that clear. The red dot functioned well in the dark, with the auto brightness sensor dropping it down to an appropriate level. But I did notice when ever I swept the gun the red dot would flicker. I think this is because it's so dark the sensor was having hard time thinking if it should be on a low level or off. That or it refreshes the brightness level a lot. He has a job.
Question: How the hell do you afford all this stuff? lol I'm just curious.
Decent paying job + not yet in college = plenty of disposable income :v:
I don't start my job till September. :/ $1100 a month. Not too bad for my first.
I don't start my job till September. :/ $1100 a month. Not too bad for my first.
So like minimum wage?
So like minimum wage?
Actually it's a lot better than minimum. My ex gets $100 a week from a grocery store.
