I had to drive only about an hour to games, back when my "team" actually played with other people.
You need to put a lot more quotes around the "team" part. The other members of said "team" were like retarded children dry humping a doorknob, while complaining about the fact that airsoft was expensive.
Oh hey it's me. I'm on the right. [editline]10:52PM[/editline] Also, I figured out why my bolt catch won't work anymore. There are two pins in the front end of the rails of my gun that stretch the spring and they fell out. Fuck me sideways. So now I'm stuck with a gun that is in two pieces and no way to fix the bolt catch. [editline]11:34PM[/editline] Alright I figured out how to fix it: I found an allen wrench with the perfect diameter and I'm going to try and cut it to the right length to be in place of those screws. Problem is, I can't cut the wrench. [editline]1:29[/editline] YES! I fucking fixed it! :woop: I'm so proud of myself. First time disassembling my gun too.

The back story for you guys: Thipple and I were on a local airsoft team. Him being Corporal, and me being Sergeant. Well the other two proclaimed themselves Lieutenant and Captain. They both were the most horrible leaders ever. We maybe played with other people six times for the two years we had our airsoft guns. It was such a miserable experience. Care to add anything else Torin? Aha.
Oh Ender, is the MP7 accurate? I think I might be on the prowl for my second gun or I might just upgrade the internals of my first.
TM MP7's are quite accurate out of the box and are very silent. When I was alive in that horrible night game I managed to spawn camp the other team in complete darkness with the MP7, silently picking them off from up to 100 feet away. Just had to make sure I turned the tracer unit off. Unfortunately for field games the MP7 is worthless, as most people won't call it as a hit. I use mine mainly for CQB since it's allowed to be used indoors and I needed a weapon to compete with all the "MP5K Fags" ,as we call them, who go running around with super upgraded MP5Ks in the killhouse.

Fucking such a waste of money, just to play in a 4 man team, and do nothing but "recon" the same fucking place, over and over and over again.
Don't even get me started. Fucking such a waste of money, just to play in a 4 man team, and do nothing but "recon" the same fucking place, over and over and over again.
Yeah, and claim there's a "threat" or to go through "training".
Sounds like a couple of douchebags.
Yeah, and claim there's a "threat" or to go through "training".
Biggest "threat" we ran into was a fucking turtle that scared the living crap out of those two. Remember that. [editline]09:02PM[/editline]
Sounds like a couple of douchebags.
You have no idea. Identity and I both spent a couple hundred dollars on stuff, that we would use like once a month if we were lucky.
I've spent more than $500, at least on weaponry and gear. Fucking "Captain" broke my helmet too. Lost $20 on that.
Get a picture of your gear. Just curious here.
Get a picture of your gear. Just curious here.
I'll have to post it tomorrow. Can't really do it tonight. Just from two guns and a battery alone have cost me $433.36, then add another $90 for a vest and hydration pack, $20 for the helmet, $60 for my boots, not to mention BB's, pyro etc. So just with the items I've listed alone, have cost $603.36.
Someone fly me out to the US so I can play airsoft with you guys.
Okay, so I think my Hop-Up is somehow DESTROYING my fucking charging handle springs. I finished my game on Friday and today, Sunday I go to clean and inspect the rifle before putting it into storage in anticipation of my new rifle and I noticed the Charging Spring was stuck. I open it out and the spring has been fucking TORN APART, it's so so stretched out it can barely keep the charging handle attached to the body. What the fuck Classic Army?
I'm going to buy a GP-5 gasmask for the hell of it. Any tips?
Don't even get me started. Fucking such a waste of money, just to play in a 4 man team, and do nothing but "recon" the same fucking place, over and over and over again.
My team used to play with and against this other team in our area that was sort of the same way. Their leader was some guy who signed up for the National Guard and had taken ROTC. They structured their team with ranks and all this fancy crap, all tried to wear tigerstripe, but the majority of their team had springers or only gas pistols. Very few had AEG's and nearly none of them were upgraded. They would force their lower ranks to do laps and push ups, and practice stupid convoy or patrol drills. I participated in one and I simply told them "Yeah, if you did this in a game or real life, your whole squad would have been dead". I mean who the hell orders 16 guys down a road stacked close together? When my team played against them we simply kicked ass and had fun with it. First time I showed up I was in full Multicam (had just come out at the time) and had the new CA SCAR-L. These guys were just drooling over how much I had, which was honestly nothing compared to what I have now. Our team didn't rely on any fancy military hand signals or useless tactics like they did. We simply stuck together and stayed in contact and it worked well. This was during the time I bought the JG BAR 10 and I was owning these guys left and right with it. But their team did have one very skillful player. Everyone simply called him Snake, and damn he deserved that name. This guy was the sneakiest mother fucker you've ever seen. All he would use is a KWA Glock and he would get you everytime. He's shot me from trees, and even sneaked up behind in a fairly open area and knifed me silently. You never saw him coming until you were dead.
Okay, so I think my Hop-Up is somehow DESTROYING my fucking charging handle springs.
Thanks for the tip, does it come with charcoal filters or should I ditch that original filter it may or may not come with and buy the charcoal ones?
It came with the one stubby green filter. I'm not sure what that one is but you can also buy large brown ones for a few bucks. [editline]01:34PM[/editline]
Just picked up a Magpul Dynamics DVD.
I got one from... other methods... It has a few useful tips but most of it is pretty obvious. I did find the quick-drawing your sidearm and speed reloading tips to be some of the more useful ones.

you look pretty good, dude.
I want an M14 DMR like Stupideye's. I need money first :hist101:
KART's is the cheapest, followed by G&G's. Go rob a bank or something.
KART's is the cheapest, followed by G&G's. Go rob a bank or something.
I want a nice, wooden one though. I might just get the KART off of AEX though. I was also looking at the Echo 1 and CYMA one.
I want a L85 now, one that would be under £200 preferably. Any ideas guys?
Army makes one. I would find a link but Im short on time. Google it.
I want an M14 DMR like Stupideye's. I need money first :hist101:
Mine's a G&G. I've put around $800 into that thing. [editline]08:11PM[/editline] ARMY makes a shitty L85 from what I know, but its the cheapest.
I want a L85 now, one that would be under £200 preferably. Any ideas guys?
Theres an Academy SA80 for £110 ive got no idea if it still exists anywhere and heres a review of it, how thoughtfull am i? haha http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/?filnavn=/reviews/academy_l85/academy_l85_review.htm if you want a really reliable one though i would go for the ICS L85, ive had no problems with ICS ever. one of the most reliable makes of airsoft gun ever in my opinion, bit harsh on the wallet though so i'd recommend an AUG if you really want a bullpup http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/product_info.php?products_id=4174 - ICS L85
