At first I didn't like it, but that was before I did alittle research and found out how that blow-back worked. Originally I thought it cut down on battery life, range and Fps but it doesn't.
Woot! Just built another replacement FPG mag catch in 2 and a half hours today, and it works and feeds!
Also got to see CA's brand new G36 line up at AEX, they were fucking nice looking. Didn't have the time to play around with one though, but I'm tempted at the full size G36 with the built in red dot.
Video of it looks amazing. Working bolt catch, blowback, quick tear down, quick spring swap what more could I ask for.

Damn it Ender, I'm torn between too many Aegs and you're not making it easier!
Ahaha
You're telling me. I'm torn between this and the PTS Masada/ACR. Probably won't get either til the end of summer though.
Masada is going to be one of those limited runs, I can't see Magpul supporting it for long. If anything it's magpuls way of getting A&K back on it's feet.

I'd say the Magpul is alot more unique then the G3's.

Just to let you know A&K is NOT making the real PTS version. It's supposedly an in house design (though I can bet you some company is building it). I would expect them to go into full production with the amount of R&D that it's taken and along with the demand for it. It would be insanely stupid to waste years of R&D only to make a batch of 100 or so. It's also much more cost effective for them to make large batches of parts for the Masada, instead of releasing small quantities or even just a single run of them.
Well I just bought $35 worth of mammoth smokes. Tomorrow is going to be a happy day.
You shouldn't smoke, it's bad for you.
I'm gonna to to the store eventually, I'm hoping they have a July 4th sale.
And btw, how old is everyone?

So, I was thinking for whatever reason, "If I tried to get my girl friend into Airsoft, what gun would she like?"
I considered it, and honestly as unrealistic as it may be this one would fit her.

It's cheap, uses M4 mags, you can mount a scope, it's a little, light thing and it's not all that bad and the style would probably fit her. Not terrible, but it'd wear down eventually so it'd be a nice starter gun.
Just a random thought, what would you guys consider for your family/friends even if it's not all that practical?
Eww. If you want something small and light for her just get an MP5 or something.
I'm just musing, it'll be a long while before I can convince her to try. I didn't say it was practical, just that it would fit her. Some people like that design.

:smug:
Unique to say the least and it's an interesting gun.

I decided I would get her a Chest-Rig.
