Honestly dude, it's glue and pipes. Shouldn't be too hard to assemble.
My loadout at the moment is so messed up, the camo and helmet resembles something Russian, but I am using an L85 with an American aimpoint and a generic tactical vest.
Generic tactical vest? A crossdraw?
View YouTUBE video http://youtube.com/watch?v=vqn-mUrpV8E I suggest this^ Its basically PVC, an external C02 tank, and a valve. Make a hopper out of PVC, get a small ish tube for the barrel, doesnt need to be really tight, a quarter inch should work, put a valve between the barrel and the hopper, connect the C02 Tank to it, and there you go.
Sorry man, but from a PVC warrior... no, not at all. First, off, you should use an airsoft gun barrel unless you want the BBs to go three feet, second of all (Wall of text incoming): The type of gun show in that video is a Vortex strafer. What you described is a Cloud strafer. Cloud strafers use dickloads of gas, and only for a very short time have a high ROF. The operate on a simple and very inefficient principle. When air is put into the "hopper", it stirs the BBs up and goes out the barrel. The stirred up BBs tend to follow the air out the barrel, so you get a high ROF, but its based on how many BBs are in the hopper. And Cloud strafers can only have very small chambers due to the expansion of the gas as it enters the chamber. So you really only get about 5 seconds of mediocre shooting. Not effective for airsoft. A Vortex strafer works on a more complicated, but much more gas efficient and consistent. The air, instead or being forced into a huge chamber where most of it is wasted energy, is forced through a small "vortex block" (shown below) BBs feed into the block by gravity (Or by a spring pusher if you want to be able to aim up) and are only effected by the air once they get to the small circle in the block near the air input. This basically is like putting a very small cloud chamber inside a big chamber of BBs. There is less wasted gas, you get a higher ROF, and you can have a much bigger ammo chamber. And hooking up to Co2 is a whole different and expensive animal, you need a very good regulator (Liquid Co2 makes PVC brittle, BAD under pressure), and sometimes special connectors and hoses if you don't want icing. You need to use pressure rated PVC pipe, solid core, not cellucore. And DO NOT use anything but PVC cement, not superglue, not hot glue.
Anyone know any good G3s?
I think Classic Army make a good one, but I may be wrong.
Generic tactical vest? A crossdraw?
No, this vest I found at a paintball shop. No name or anything, just "Tactical Vest" [editline]06:55PM[/editline]
Anyone know any good G3s?
My cousin has the JG G3, it's really good for a clone gun.
I just painted my friend's M14 woodland. He likes it.
Have you got any pictures of it?
Have you got any pictures of it?
No
Dang Nammit!
I think you mean "Dag Nabbit!"
Thanks to both of you. But I'm waaay to indecisive. If I do want a G3, I'll look at the Classic Army one. I can't decide on anything.
*Huge informative post that pwned me*
Wow, there's a lot more to it than I imagined earlier. Thanks though, I was considering making one myself because theres just this massive pile of BBs at my local CQB place

Thought it would be easier than that, but I did mean actually using PVC cement available through home improvement stores instead of cheap superglue or anything similar.
www.spudfiles.com is a great resource if you really want to get into airsoft flammenwerfing. I did it for a while, its quite fun until you get out of CQB, then the lack of hop-up really hurts. I may do it again now that you guys have reminded of it :v:
I have always wanted to make an airsoft RPG and then put it in a discarded AT4.

I like that 6 shot tennis ball thing. If it weren't $400 (less than 400 he says, but no exact number), I'd make one.
Got this in the mail from my girlfriend today: She knows I play airsoft and thought it'd be cool if she got a bear with camo on it. So, I'm now rigging him into my emergency drag strap, so I can distract players with cuteness and easily shoot them. Tactical Teddy FTW.
The teddy bear is excellent. Also, anyone going to http://tinychat.com/facepunchgearwhores again? I'm curious about the FP airsoft forum.
k wtf. I left for a sec and I come back and it keeps giving me a new chatroom.
k wtf. I left for a sec and I come back and it keeps giving me a new chatroom.
we're still in here
Me, Ender, and Stupideye are all in our own group called the same thing.
Ah, weird stuff.

I doubt BB's would damage it.
Wouldn't she get mad if it gets shot up?
What kind of sick, sadistic ass shoots a cuddly teddy bear? And yeah, bb's wouldn't damage this guy. The dog tag might get dented, but that's replaceable. She's actually for bringing the little guy into battle. I call that a win.
I think Classic Army make a good one, but I may be wrong.
I had one stripped down the other day for a friend, it's possibly one of the best built guns I've ever opened up. If it wasn't for the god-awful length it'd be worth every penny.
I Longer guns. Mainly because I don't do CQB. I had to edit this message because it was so fucking wrong.
