I am no officially jealous.
Hes a reviewer dude, he doesn't actually own those, hes like Booligan from Airsoft retreat, stores and manufacturers give him guns to review, then take them back.
And Ive always only had 1 or 2 launchers with different purposes, I have a dickload of GRENADES not launchers. :v:
Speaking of which, Im planning on putting my tax return towards a King Arms M79. As much as I like my hackjob of an Echo1, the plasticy-ness is getting kind of old.
Nice setup, but let me point out a few things about the FPG kit first that I think you should know.
1. No built in sling mounts, so you'll have to set one up yourself. Not sure it will close in some cases.
2. Standard mags will not lock in the grip unless the supplied Magpul plate is attached to the bottom of the mag. The plate is thinner than the standard one. The easiest way around this: Remove the plate completely.
3. The FPG can only fold with the 50rd hicap if you have the Magpul plate installed. The original is a bit too long and won't fit.
4. Some filing to your slide may be necessary for it to cycle smoothly. I couldn't even pull my slide back initially until I filed my slide down, and I still need to do more.
1. I don't mind jerry rigging something up myself and I'm not too fussed if it doesn't close.
2. Wait, so that means I couldn't use standard mags AT ALL unless I got a set of plates?
3. I know that and I'm not too fussed.
4. A mere technicality.
2 would be the kicker though.
Just take the plates off. I don't know about other KWA magazines, but KWA NS2 magazines' plates just fall off eventually.

I'm not that fussed about it, just worried that I'll eventually lose the part that holds the baseplates on and the spring in - I've got one mag like that and it's annoying to constantly check it.
I'm just trying to figure out how to mount a sling to the weapon effectively and cheaply.
Current basic solution that comes to mind - Some self adhesive velcro on the back part, a paracord loop to clip the sling to and then mount it with velcro - don't know how secure it'd be but it's worth a shot.

Oh. :saddowns:

Big brother, fires tennis balls WTF far.
Wow that's nice! I wish I knew enough about PSI and all that stuff to make RPG launchers.
That picture confuses me greatly. It looks like there's two launchers on one stand, but one launcher is farther back making that impossible...

The small green one is leaning on the bipod of the big one.
Seems more like you created an optical illusion, than a mortar :v:
that image is a complete mindfuck
I bought the wrong length barrel (several inches too small), and now I have no use for it. I can't return it, because my friend made the order (several people bought smaller things as one large purchase so there was no shipping) and I highly doubt that we could get it worked out in time (it took his dad like a week and a half to confirm the order. :| )
I guess I'll try to sell it to local people or my friends :(
size?
Oh and I am going to save for the ICS full metal sig 552, the reviews are horror stories, but I don't want the blowback or the 150$ JG one so what elss do I have to choose from?

The JG one isn't so bad. It's weaker but it comes with a hi-cap. And it's half the price.

Not to mention Tactical Trunk Monkey still has about 31 refurbished JG SIG 552's in stock for about $50 a piece with $10 shipping.
One of my friends has a JG 552 and it seems like a pretty good gun.
size?
469 mm when I need a 510mm. Big difference.
God damn internet (not you guys), giving me horribly wrong information. :(
anything over 500mm is useless and can possibley kill your FPS cause of the suck back.
Yea but I wanted a full metal gun, I already have one but I like them for their weight.
you want accuracy? get a better hop up.
I already did.
Going out tonight to do a bit of recon with the team. We have some urban structures we can go to. One of those structures is a 4 million dollar beach home. Oh yeah..
Starting a team.
10 people is a hopefull wish.
so far we have 4 people.
We so far plan a team buy of 4 tri-shot shotguns,
2 p90's
4 mp5's
Then we will subtract guns or add them for custom buys from each member or whatever.
I am planning ~160$ per person buy for mags, ammo and gun each as we split the costs.
It's either mp5's or ak's but no one but me and my friend james really likes AK's so I picked some cheaper weapons.
We are planning ASGI for this purchase but I was thinking maybe swich to RSOV but I don't have a paypal so idk.
advice?

You can create a paypal easily and have people deposit in the money, so it's easy to keep track of. It sounds like a complicated setup that you have though. But I guess it's fair since everyone is getting a weapon.
Hardly complicated, I plan to have weapons on a first come first server basis, they get a list and write their name near the gun they want or write a name of a gun they want and a price range w/ their name, I get them a price and they pay for that gun or pay the fee for the split.
I am paying about 400$ for my purchase plus the 160$ for the fee and I will prob. add another 100$ to that.
I say let everyone decide on their own guns, especially for a start up team. On my team we have AUG's, AK's, M4's, G36's, M14's, tri shot shotguns, BAR 10's and probably some others I'm forgetting.
If everyone on the team has the same gun, they should be using similar gear too, it looks that much better. But when you start going into this path it gets expensive, and not everyone will be happy (unless they all like M4's or something).

Yea that's why we are going to have a discussion on that option once we get it all together.
It was just an idea a friend springed around to me and it stuck a bit, however I do plan to charge each one a cut for ammo, buying the 24 bag package and then splitting it up per person with 2 bags each, leaving 6 for me because I am prob. the only one who will keep track of it and will have to give people ammo a lot anyway.
Plus I am very good at stockpiling crap so that will be a huge plus, I sure as hell want them to be educated too so our first match will be on rules and shit then we will move to practice, and so forth.
I hope that all 9 of them will be able to also make purchases from ASGI or other good sites after this so I plan to compose a list of GOOD and BAD sites for purchase.
I.E Asian Gifts,walmart,k-mart or whatever = VERY BAD
I'd rather have everyone using the same gear and guns they are comfy with. Even the same BDU will work.
