I just made a landmine/IED for airsoft. It's a small green container with a button on top. I put it in a ~6 inch hole, and probably put a piece of cardboard (or similar. This is to increase chances of someone stepping on it). Cover it with foliage or dirt, and it's good to go. When stepped on, an alarm goes off. I tested it and it seemed to work pretty well.

The mine is completely safe to carry until it has that little plastic thing. I've been juggling it for a few minutes and it hasn't gone off. Also, that mine was overkill for setting it off. I used a little 1x2" piece of paper folded up and it set it off. Vibrations of walking nearby doesn't seem to do it though.
Oh shit that's cool
Heh, planning to remove the "internals" from a clear plastic m4 from walmart (the one I made into a automatic large handgun) and need help with where I should put the internals, what should I do for a body etc... It needs to be cheap too and would look better and lighter than this plastic shit with lead weights in the pistol grip.
Put it in a briefcase, perfect for CQB surprises.
Put it in a briefcase, perfect for CQB surprises.
How much would a brief case cost? And it pretty in accurate and a breif case is MUCH larger than the weapon currently.
Get a used briefcase from Goodwill or somewhere like that for relatively cheap I would imagine. $20 tops maybe. Garage sales are a good place to check too. If you wanted something smaller, hollow out a book.
Book gun? AWSOME!
Yes! My hydration carrier and silencer came in the mail today! I'm so happy! Now to get a longer barrel and weaker spring.
Peek a boo
I keel you.
Is that a shotgun? Sniper shotgun.
Bird hunting. Now I am the same height as you, you rats with wings!
Is that a shotgun? Sniper shotgun.
I found out that my little springer shotgun is actually really accurate with .25s, so I was using it like a sniper rifle. To pretty good effect actually.
I found out that my little springer shotgun is actually really accurate with .25s, so I was using it like a sniper rifle. To pretty good effect actually.
That would raise a lot of "the fuck?"s from my friends.
Spring shotguns are basically just bolt action rifles in a different shape :v
It's like the Benelli M3 in Rainbow Six vegas.. or the spas 12 in Modern Warfare.. or the Spas 12 in Half Life deathmatch.. wow there are a lot of video games with sniper shotguns.
Bad Company 2. Stick the slug upgrade on that bitch and you have a literal insta-sniper. I got some guys all the way across the map.
fucking neostead+slug gets me every time
Me too, makes me rage.
In the process of creating many business man esq airsoft weapons. my pen gun takes ~1 minute to reload and it shoots anywhere from 1-6 bb's really well. It's propulsion is based on those party popers things, they are used to shoot confetty and they shoot easily under 300 FPS from this pen. I have pics and all I just can't get them from my phone to computer, if I had a video camera that would be nice too.
Accurate?
In cqb, it would be pretty accurate. But in a business suit most fighting would be cqb anyway lol. AMBUSH THAT BUSINESS MAN! POP! FUCK! Combine it with the breifcase gun I plan to make and bam! instant happy fun times.
That would be pretty epic. Make a phone gun or something too. Maybe turn it into a spy like thing with a gun in your shoe, would be kind of impractical though.
Yea. It's pretty obvious though because a string comes out the end. And it aims backwards. It's a first step to musket sort of though. I wonder if there is arule against gun powder powered airsoft guns if we use paper before and after the bb's and very low ammounts of powder? This is pretty safe too, well at least my pen gun is, plenty of space and shit for gas expansion and no risk of blowing up in my hand like the time I made one out of a cheapo mechical pencil. Plastic stuck in your hands is NOT fun.
If you really want to be safe your could just drill out some aluminum stock in the shape of a pen. Wouldn't be that hard really, probably take me 15 minutes top at work.
Hey, what are the rules in America for removing the orange tip on your gun? Should I make it black or no?
Orange tips are only needed for SAFETY AND SELLING so if you are selling the gun, it needs an orange tip, if you want to get rid of the chance of someone mistaking your gun for a real one then get rid of it. As long as you aren't waving it around in public without an orange tip you will be fine.
Heh you guys know that crappy sl8 I bought? Fucker's hop-up broke so I rigged it a new one from the parts I scavenged from it, I did some body mods and BAM, lighter, shorter, cooler gun with a much better system for hop-up. Before: a broken fixed hop-up where this little rubber piece wasn't allowing the bb to get through with any ease. After: A rigged hop-up that allows the BB to at least move through the hop up area, and is unfunctional. So basicaly I turned it into a sexy walmart gun that has mostly metal internals, shoots ~300 FPS and was under 100$. Too bad I can't even open the thing to the gear box or anything because of the way the shoddy chinese factory decided to strip random needed screws and have unremovable mag wells.
