I'm back!
I realized GI really doesn't carry an 74 magazines. Outta curiousity, can 74s take 47 mags?
I found this neat, but my dad was at a testing office on base where he works today and my dad couldn't help but eavesdrop on a guy that was on the phone next to him. The guy on the phone was a Special Forces guy who plays airsoft with other Special Forces guys and other young players at fields/their training fields. The most my dad heard was that he was planning for his Airsoft team to get together for another day long skirmish.

Mah Automerge! And yeah, I should be ordering soon, but I'm being tempted by Kalashnikovs.

Yeah, you can use 47 and 74 mags interchangeably, just don't tell Cubeman, he'll get mad.
I can't wait :D In two weeks I'll be buying optics and other gun accessories like the Noveske Amplifier Flash Hider.
Shit man, you've got a lot of things to buy already. Ye must be just swimming in cash money or someshit, eh?

hot damn thats sexy
Relax, I may not buy an AK. Can someone get me a good photo of Ak Sights? I used to like it, but most pics I've seen has the rear sight looking to tight.
Can someone explain the appeal of the FPG to me? I just see a boxy thing with a bunch of rails sticking out of it and a G18 grip. IRL, I could see the utility of it, but in airsoft, where concealability doesn't matter the vast majority of the time, it just seems like an overly expensive conversion kit that's not super massively cool looking (Like an M82 for instance).

It also looks comfortable to use.

They are however an absolute BLAST to shoot.
Those aren't FPG's :)
I know, they're Hera arms GCCs, but they remind me of FPGs. As for the cool factor, yeah, thats pretty much what I figured. Its the same reason I use an M79, so I totally respect that :v:

That's my problem, most likely, I'm buying the G&G M16A4, but my problem is I love them both. The only thing is the AKs sights seem like they'd be hard to look through.
They're not that bad, they're pretty easy to look through. Plus, I like how quickly you can adjust the sight for elevation.
I like AK sights, I find them easier to look through then M4 sights.
Fuck, missed my package for my Ranger hoodie. Oh well, it'll come tomorrow. My GIR patch came in today though.
Is it true you can look through AK sights with both rues opened.
Can you tell me who makes that sight on the gun all the way to the right? That's yours I believe.
It's a copy of an Aimpoint T-1 (often referred to as a micro aimpoint or micro t-1), plenty of companies make them, star/ares (oh god don't!), king arms, G&P and various chinese clones - they're all pretty much the same. I know the ones that SIGARMS throw in with their rifles are actually pretty cheapy chinese ones just with branding and better QC, so just get whatever, they're all the same.
AK sights tend to be quicker, but AR sights are more accurate.
Thanks. I've been looking for the name of that sight for months.
Only issue i have with russian optics is that the airsoft gun makers can't really ever make a ak rail that fits the optics really good. A feel companys made some great ones, Daytonagun,Some VFC,Some dboys. Otherwise sometimes it just shits out and won't fit or will slide on and will lock but still falls right off. Silly stuff.
Yeah, that's not the big problem for me. I'm just trying to figure which I'd like better. Also, if CYMA/Dboys make long-lasting AKs, and I want an AK, I;d get one of them. They're much cheaper than any M16 I'd buy. And you guys don't dislike Black Furniture AKs without rails, do you?
I like 'em. They're "less than favored" on here though.
