Dboys makes a pretty solid AK for the price. And yeah I like AK's with black furniture. I'm getting one for my Russian loadout whenever I get money.
Would they last 2-3 years?
I'd shoot for more 1.5-2 years.
If you are asking about the Dboys, I'm not sure. Mine's lasted 1 year so far with minimal problems.
So, long enough to decide if I really liked it, and upgrade it, or buy a new gun if I'd rather get something else?
It allows you to mount a red-dot and other accessories that you couldn't add on a normal Glock. It also looks comfortable to use.
Why not just get a MP7 or TMP instead?

Pretty much. Picking your first gun, is like buying your first car.

This provides both a pistol and SMG option? Those would be my reasons.
Anyone think I should get the Glock Carbine kit combo off AEX? What Glock do they use?
I'd go for it. I'd imagine a KSC Glock is what they use.
Why not just get a MP7 or TMP instead?
Wealth of accessories (internally) and reliability. Basically you can't get much more of a workhorse pistol than a KSC glock.
Or should I wait for the KWA complete thing to come out?
Good analogy, I'm working on both ATM.

Well, when I talked to the product manager for KWA, he said it would be coming "Soon, very soon". So, if it's something you want now, then AEX, if it's something you can wait for, KWA FPG.

Same here.
I know I'm aiming kind of high, but I'm saving for either a Mitsubishi Evo, or a Nissan GT-R.

Personally I'd say get the hera kit, it's much more practical.

My first vehicle is going to be a 2003 Ford F-150. Sure it's a giant gas guzzler, but I'd rather have a truck than a rice grinder. My parents said they would pay for my gas until I move out anyway and that will only be a year or so by the time I actually get my license. I need my learner's permit for a year first. I could have gotten it when I was 14, I was lazy and still don't have it and I turned 16, the age you can get your license at, way back in March.
I turned 18 and I still haven't gotten mine. I don't think it really matters though, seeing how I don't have a car to drive.
Personally I'd say get the hera kit, it's much more practical.
I would probably never take it out of the kit though. I would most likely only use it for CQB.
I recently bought myself a 2007 Chevy Cobalt for around $8,000. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done.

I kinda wanted an EVO, but I settled for the standard '08 Lancer GTS.

As I said, thats a nice car venom. If we go to an OP some time, were rolling in that.
Fuck yea, I'm driving up to you and going to an OP wit you.
:buddy:
Venom, is yours manual or automatic?
Facepunch Automotive forum
Yes. We need one. Also, I'd travel a couple of states to meet up at an OP with you guys.
It's manual/standard, which means I'd end up having to drive the entire way, since stupideye doesn't know how to drive stick.
Manual car is best car. I actually prefer manual. I like the clutch. And the speed.

Ah, always relaxing. Especially with surround sound on.
I just like manual because you get more control over it, and it just feels a lot better.
Exactly. I also like the sound when you shift into a higher gear.
This thread is now about cars.
