Read it on Tumblr this morning. Pretty touching, and I know what he's talking about with the Japanese girlfriend thing. I'm in the same situation. Seems like a nice guy. Good comic.

My parents had me later than most parents do, and thus I've never really "had" any grandparents. The only one alive is my mom's mom and she literally lives across the country so there's no way I can see her. It's kind of depressing having older parents and no grandparents at all. My dad is 62 and my mom 55, they're still great fun to be with but it just feels odd because other people's parents are like 40 or 50 at the latest.
